End of transfer window
It's the end of the transfer window and here is the result of my wheeling and dealing.
Stewart Downing never got to win the title medal he wanted, shame for him but I wanted to bring Mata in so he had to leave, to Southampton for a bargain 900k, and he is still an England international. If I didn't want to off-load him a lot I would have rejected Southampton's offer.
Johan Put, 18-year-old Belgian striker whom I signed from Genk just a season ago has left to Birmingham on loan.
Charlie Adam and
Seydou Keita has left Liverpool on frees - Adam has moved to Blackburn while Keita retired and went to Swansea as a youth coach.
Raheem Sterling, whose bad attitude has been getting on the other players' nerves, has moved to Derby for 2.3 million and his transfer has been praised by fans and players alike who did not like him for his attitude.
Phillip Pritchard has signed for Southampton as well for a fee of 1 million.
Marcao and
Conor Coady have joined Osasuna and Watford respectively, both on loan but with views to permanent deals as I look to clear out some youngsters.
Alessandro Rossi is also at Roma on loan with a future fee of around the region of 3 million.
Yaya Sanogo has made a permanent move away from Liverpool to Olympiakos in Greece after returning from his loan spell at Olympique Marseille where he flopped and only made 12 league appearances. Sanogo turned down the chance to join Juventus in Italy for Olympiakos for 5 million, 15 million less than what Liverpool paid for him two years ago.
Fernando Muslera has moved to Juventus for 10 million after his fairly successful loan spell at Barcelona after failing to oust Pepe Reina as Liverpool's first choice keeper.
