We set new attendance records (9,100) and gate take GBP180K, so that will all help the coffers.

My Ass Man is also happy with Cajic's development, and he believes that he is ready for more firs team football.
Okay, seeded fourth I didn't expect much....but this???

I feel I am dead, in the water.
COME ON YOU RED MEN
Yeah thanks for your support Glenn!! :P

I honestly can see us finishing fourth in the pool by some distance. :(
And if Group G wasn't already grim enough, I start with an away game against Liverpool....

I hope my Board are understanding enough to realise that we are looking at six losses and a bit of TV Revenue. In that sense, the expectation was that we reach the third round of qualification...but I am not sure how they would greet us not winning a match.

Wonder if I could do a Ricki Herbert (and NZ at the WC) and not lose?
Amen!

There is no doubt that I have an abundance of talent in my squad, but whether we have the ability to mix it with the European powerhouses, that is another thing entirely!

Two fantastic goals in the first half laid the platform for a stunning win 2-0 at home. We dominated possession and duffed more than our fair share of chances and the POM award still went to a member of the opposition??

The side has twelve or so days off while the internationals are played, which will give my injured players a chance to recover.

August 2015 review

Board rating 66% (“Very Secure”);

Within salary and wage budgets;

Profit of close to GBP9.5M, reflecting Euro prize money and sale of u21 players;

Undefeated during month, including great wins against FCK to progress to Group stage of Euro comp;

Recorded first sell- out of stadium in club history;

Tough draw in Group G of Euro competition;

Rocha, Brkic and Dudas have all impressed backroom staff this month. Surprisingly, Medina and central defender Jozak have had poor training months;

Awarded Manager of Month for August.
Nice odds for us, but it's about right!

Czech FA Cup - Second Round 12 Sep 15

Medina stepped up in the absence of Savic - who was on the field, but not mentally fit - to score two goals, and Boroncoi scored the other from a set piece to thump Viktoria Zizkov 0-3. We should have scored more, and it does show our weaknesses when we meet a far stronger team, like say Liverpool, midweek.

We will meet non league side Pelhrimov in the Third Round of the Czech FA Cup.
I don't know whether the fans think too much of me, or whether I think too little of my ability....

Here is one for Glenn, we battled and fouled and had crappy long shots miss, and shut down that sod Gerrard. The (alleged) racist wasn't playing up front, and we scrapped to a 0-1 win. Medina scored the winner from close range!
