Captain Jan Halama is now one of the clubs favoured personnel, and the season tickets are on target to sell around 2,200, compared with 1,780 last term.
Ygnve Sørum has confirmed his deal, which does lessen our reliance on some of the aging strikers in our ranks. We would hope to have at least one of them sold by the end of the transfer window.

We were well impressed with the new and improved České Budějovice, as the new signings took names and kicked the proverbial. Perhaps a tad disappointing to give up two goals, but I think the team will improve as they play together more and more. We also need to allow for the fact that injuries and internationals did not allow us to field what I would expect to be our strongest eleven.

This was also an away fixture, so being a goal up and playing at home gives us a strong advantage coming into the second leg. Kudos must go to young Serbian striker, Savic, who scored a hat trick on his debut.

Five of my rubbishy under 21 squad are wanted by other clubs....I'll see what offers are made before I do anything!
We have been declared second favourites at 6-1 odds to win the Czech First Division, behind Sparta Prague.
And we are Super Cup Champions, but we didn't force the point home, only winning 2-0. And that after we lost both of our most potent attacking weapons injured in the first half.

A win is a win is a win.

The injuries are not serious, but serious enough to keep both Medina (dead leg 5-6 days) and Savic (bruised rub 7-10 days) out of the return leg of the Champions Cup Second Round Qualification.
Update on the season ticket sales should see around 2,300 sold for the coming term.
Do you want the good or the bad news first?

The good? Well, we won.

The bad? We set an record in the process....

And another thing, just quietly, there didn't appear to be any prize money for the Czech Super Cup.
Talking of rubbishy attendances, we may get 6,000 to our home game in the Champ Cup qualifying, but "it is unlikely to be a sellout."

Our support is so poor that we can't even get a capacity crowd for a continental competition!!

Another hard fought match against Slovan Bratislava, we prevailed, but we have plenty to work on. I am disappointed that midfielder Boroncoi had two cards in eight mins and we had to play the second half a man down. I can feel a fine coming for him.

Boroncoi also needed to be reminding to keep it professional after becoming upset after getting a two week wage fine.

He'll also have at least a one match Europe comp ban coming, so I felt it was justified.
Great Story.Those regens :O
