FA Cup Final

Full Time Score

Jonjo bloody Shelvey! What an unbelievable performance by the youngster. I set out my team to play in a 4-5-1 formation with their roles set to rigid formation and to play on the counter; you could easily tell Chelsea were not expecting it. The drastic change in formation to what Chelsea would have normally have seen us adopt totally baffled them and to great effect. It was nice to win the FA Cup especially after then disappointment at our exit out of the Champions League. Another great achievement in what has been a season that has got better and better as it has gone on.
Outstanding win against Chelsea :D Of all people to win the match for you, Jonjo Shelvey! Surely one of the finest performances of a Liverpool player!

A Famous Quad

This achievement has got to go down in Liverpool FC and English football folklore. Some people may sit there and say, “Yeah well one of the trophies was one only the Community Shield, who cares about that?” The answer is simple. I do. What we achieved as a team this season has got to go down as one of my biggest achievements in my Football Manager career. It was a famous quadruple that I am confident, with a tad more depth, can turn into yet more success next season with the possibility of bringing the Champions League trophy home with us.

English Premier League

What readers have been waiting for (FMRookie) is to find out if my team managed to emulate the success of Arsenal in their “Invincible” year which help them achieve Premier League glory. I could waffle on here about every match, every stand out performance, etc, but I think the Premier League standings below will just speak for itself.

Month of May

The month could have finished 100% but Wolves were a very stubborn team. The biggest highlight of the month has to be Jonjo Shelvey’s performance against Chelsea in the FA Cup final. He has proved he is more than worthy to wear the red shirt of Liverpool FC week in week out. I am now hopeful, and slightly confident, that we can continue this invincible form into next season/

Awards and Recognition

Congratulations James :) This is a great achievement for any manager with any club! Looking for more to come :P
what tactics do you use mate, great story btw
Why thank you. I will take this post to say I am going to take a break from this journey/story and go onto a new venture. It doesn't mean the story is dead and I am still determined to get this team back to the Paisley era.

Thank you very much but you will have to wait until I come back to this story in order to find out my tactics and how we achieved what we did. Thanks for reading.

Congrats James :P :D :) ! This is one of the achievements that are hard to do, even with any team on the planet! This story has been great all the way and Liverpool is the best team in your save! YNWA!

Haha maybe that is a possibility in the future. Although Brendan Rogers, in my save, has only just been given the job so I may have to wait a while longer. Thanks for reading.
