2013-01-09 09:16#76314 [email protected] : This is a fantastic start and Ayew has been the best signing I have made. I achieved little to no success with the Reds until 2015 in my game however in 2017 I have just achieved a new Champions League Record of 30 games unbeaten :-)

Great work on the story and Rodrigo is worth every penny you have to acquire.

Again a fantastic read and very well presented well done.

Why thank you. Ayew is slowly being broken into the team - I can't decide whether to play him more often than Shelvey.

I hope to be challenging for the Premier League title again this season and had least have some sort of good run in the Champions League (quarter finals would be good and an achievement).

I'm ok for strikers at the moment and for the foreseeable future so Rodrigo will be staying here he is I think.

Thanks for reading.
Nicely done there lad. And great signings actually. I see you struggle whereas I did my first season with Liverpool. Europe and FA treated me bad. League Cup was won together with the league.
However i managed to bring in Sergio Romero and Mateo Kovacic in January.

Which helped alot, cause I got Gerrard injured for three months during spring.
But you gotta love monthly installments as payment method, got Cavani and Neymar with the help of 48 months. Hurts the economy but the sale of Lucas Leiva to PSG for £25 M where as £7 M upfront and £18 over 24 months.

Good luck with your second season. Great story so far. Btw, Sterling, Shelvey and Coates have shown to become great stars as Ive continued.
Thanks for reading Slogh.

I don't personally like the idea of paying in 48 monthly installments as it means teams can get players they actually cannot afford, for example Neymar. But hey, each to their own and I hope he is doing well for you.

I brought in Lamela and Griezmann who forced Sterling out of the side so he is on a season long loan and is getting a good amount of game time. I am trying to play Shelvey, my issue is I cannot decide where best suits him. Coates is moaning about no game time so I am trying to give him cup games at least before him and Danny Wilson get more game time next season.

Thanks again for reading and I hope you carry on enjoying the story.
Nice squad you have there James! good luck with your second seasons running, hope you could make another Istanbul history there... hehehe....

I didn't sign players like you did, I made my 48 months trade. but I was using coates, jack robinson, sterling, danny wilson, martin kelly and jonjo shelvey for the depth of the team. the second season I offload some of them as I had Pastore only for 15mil, and he is extremly beast out there, finishing the season with 22goals and 20 assists in my second season. Ayew was also in a bargain for 13million, unhappy in OM, sign him but selling him the next season as MC willing to offer me triple his value... yeah, that's my opinion of football, in term of business. I brought Demba ba also in my first season and selling him in my third season triple his value to Real Madrid. Kind of typical Arsene Wenger, but I also buy alot of players such as Hamsik,Thiago, erriksen, M'villa, and many more, offloading the rest of standard players... In the end I just found that My liverpool team is not a liverpool anymore, leaving reina, johnson, gerrard, kelly, danny wilson, lucas leiva and suarez. even Gerrard doesn't listed as my substitutes and for few games, I just played him to cover Johnson because of Kelly's injury. in the other hand the winning odd is greater, my team was given 5-1 odd for EPL and 8-1 in champion league...

Note: barca lost 5-0 in Anfield with my team... cheers...

I never plan on using 48 monthly installments as I think it allows you to buy players that are unrealistic transfer targets like potentially Pastore and Neymar. I plan on keeping the same Liverpool defence and not rebuilding or adding depth to it until Agger and Skrtel retire; Coates and Wilson be fantastic replacements and Robinson and Flanagan will replace Enrique and Johnson with no problems.

Onwards and updwards and thank you for reading.

FC Porto vs Liverpool FC

The month of the draws. I had been hoping for a more successful month but despite the team dominating every minute of every game the goals seem to be lacking. I can’t fault the team’s efforts at all but they need to start scoring goals in the next month. The gap at the top of the league has got smaller because of this draw month so we really need to get this season kick started all over again.

An almost perfect month. We went into each and every game and believed that we could win, apart from Manchester United. However, setting my players to ‘hassle opponents’ and to ‘get stuck in’ their star players (Neymar and Robin Van Persie) did nothing to trouble my solid defence.
I have to admit that we went into the Wolves game and underestimated them and we shouldn’t have done and we certainly won’t be making that mistake again in the future. A brilliant all around month.

Again another month where I can have no complaints whatsoever, well that is in term of results. With two players leaving the club I had been hoping to bring others in to add more depth to the squad but teams were out pricing of putting in any bids. The owners should no support and did not provide me with an improved transfer budget. The team are still performing well as a team but some individuals do need to start stepping up their game, mainly being Luis Suarez. At the present I can see me moving him on come the end of the season.

Player of the Month – Martin Skrtel

Luis Suarez out of Liverpool?! Never! What are going to be your signings? Nice results btw, and the Swindon match was quite good for Shelvey!
