Nice signing in Kwakwa, my scouts always rate him, City signed quite a few good youngsters from the Right to dream academy, should check out the others!

MOTM: Carrico (Sporting)

Taca da Portugal 4th Round Draw

We will play Corvilha away in the fourth round of the Portuguese Cup. This should be an easy win, although I said that about the last round and I was wrong, and as we know, cup upsets can always happen. Still Corvilha play in the Segunda Liga, so this should be a comfortable game for us.

Spartak 0-3 Sporting – UCL Group D – 5.11.2013

Sporting (4-6-0): Patricio, Soares, Boulahrouz, Carrico, Insua, Kara, De Bruyne, Elias, Carrillo, Adryan, Capel

Subs Used: Rubio for Kara (HT)

Goals: Carrillo (70), Elias (87), De Bruyne (90+3)

MOTM: Soares (Sporting)

Sporting 6-0 Guimaraes – Liga ZON – 10.11.2013

Sporting (4-6-0): Patricio, Rodriguez, Boulahrouz, Carrico, Rojo, Kara, De Bruyne, Elias, Carrillo, Adryan, Capel

Goals: De Bruyne (18), Carrillo (64, 66, 74), Carrico (pen 76), Capel (79)

MOTM: Carrillo (Sporting)

Corvilha 1-2 Sporting – TdP R4 – 18.11.2013

Sporting (4-6-0): Boeck, Lopes, Carrico, Reis, Rojo, Santos, Labyad, Adrien, Zaha, Jano, Eduardo

Injuries: Rojo (twisted ankle, 3-4 weeks)

Goals: Araujo (10); Zaha (17), Carrico (54)

MOTM: Carrico (Sporting)

Injury Update

Our backup keeper Marcelo Boeck has suffered a broken finger in training, and will be out for 5-6 weeks. We will be fine without him, as we have our young keeper Joao Martins as third choice, and this could give him a chance to showcase his potential. However, we don’t want to lose him to a bigger club.

Belenenses 0-1 Sporting – Liga ZON – 22.11.2013

Sporting (4-6-0): Patricio, Rodriguez, Boulahrouz, Carrico, Insua, Kara, De Bruyne, Elias, Carrillo, Adryan, Capel

Goals: Elias (89)

MOTM: Elias (Sporting)

Manchester United Sack Bielsa

Manchester United have confirmed on their official website that they have sacked Marcelo Bielsa after several poor results this season sees them lie in 12th place in the Premier League. United are now looking for a new manager to guide them to success again.

Bielsa took over in December 2012 after Alex Ferguson was sacked following a bad start to the 2012-13 season. Bielsa managed to take the club into the Europa League group stages at the start of the season, but has since had several poor results, including a 4-2 loss to Wolves and a 3-1 loss away to IFK Göteborg. The United board have finally lost patience with the Argentinian manager, and sacked him, in hope of reviving the Reds’ season. Whoever comes in will face the task of dealing with an injured, unhappy squad, although the team will still be challenging on three fronts, the FA Cup, the Capital One Cup, and the Europa League.

The favourites for the job are thought to be Ajax’s Frank De Boer, Milan’s Manuel Pellegrini, and Sporting CP’s Lothar Matthaus.
My bets are on Pellegrini, the sly fox.
Don't go to United :P I mean you are doing an awesome job at Sporting :) why not make them bigger then city ot united. On the other hand its a bloody nice challenge to bring forth a prize winning team at United, so whatever your choice will be you have my support
:O I never saw this coming!
Good luck at wherever you land up. Keep up the good work :D
All will be revealed in the next update :)
