Should he or shouldn't he?

After Marseille had sacked their boss, they were on the search for a new manager. Linked to the job was Moyes, Vilanova and QPR boss Patrick McKeown who was approached. He was of course pleased to be approached and was considering accepting the job but just somewhere at the back of his mind, he thought he would be better off staying at QPR so opted to stay at QPR therefore rejecting Marseille.

I do plan to leave QPR but I really want to make them successful, definitely improve the squad with quality, make them mega rich (hopefully get taken over), competing for titles and have an excellent youth system then I'll leave so the next guy has an easy job

how long this will take me I've no idea but hopefully 2-3 seasons

Capital One and Europa League draws

With QPR progressing to the semis the draw was made which sees them face WBA. Whoever wins will see them face a tough task as either Chelsea or Man City will be the other team in the final.

In the first knockout round, QPR will face a tough opposition in Napoli who have some key players like Cavani and Hamsik.

Should QPR surprise Napoli, they could face fellow Premier League side, Newcastle or face a trip to Turkey to face Trabzonspor!

So at the end of December saw us drop down to 4th with a game in hand. With January approaching, Patrick will now look to bolster the squad so he can cement a place for the Champions League!

QPR legend heaps praise on McKeown

Retired footballer and now a striker coach at Spurs (to teach Adebayor how to score), Les Ferdinand heaped praise on QPR boss, Patrick McKeown saying what a marvellous job he has done and how he has managed to attract some big names. Les who enjoyed a successful career says that he still keeps a watch on how QPR are doing and wishes everyone associated with the club a big success.

Patrick criticises the youth system

In this latest out-burst, Patrick criticised the youth squad claiming they are not good enough and that the board must act on this asap as the boss clearly wants to develop the youth squad and make them good enough for the first team. The boss also feels that it will be a step back in the club's future as they look to progress and maintain their Premier League status and challenge for the cups!
