I see that you have changed your expectations :P Championship is a possibility, given our early season form. :)
Great updates!
Some nice results last month, keep it going :D

A Family Re-Union

Just over five years ago, Paul Hewson (a.k.a. Bono) left the world renowned band U2 to begin his adventure in football management. With the position at Vauxhall Motors vacant, Paul Hewson quickly pounced on it and earned his first managerial role. In those five years, he has guided Vauxhall Motors to three promotions, including two league titles, and the team now sits in the play-off spots in NPower League One.

After five long years, U2 got back together for a re-union concert at Ellesmere Port's very own Vauxhall Stadium. The stadium was packed out, with 6,817 people attending. The crowd included well-known sports people such as Obi Anoruo, Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney, and Sir Alex Ferguson. It was a great night with a buzzing atmosphere, and a performance to remember.

Paul Hewson proved that he still had the ability to sing, and this has more than boosted his already massive reputation as Vauxhall Motors manager. With a wonderful season on the horizon, the family that is U2 had plenty to catch up on and plenty to dream about. Maybe another re-union in the future? We will have to wait and see!

Haha nice one!

Thanks :)
Anoruo wasn't near this good on FM12, even though he was my top goalscorer at Wrexham first season.

(You might have gotten lucky with potential or something though)

Still, glad to see he's still a great player for you, even at the League 1 level!

Season Six: November Update

Vauxhall Motors were rapidly climbing the league title, and recent form put them among the favourites for promotion. With a confident squad and merry fans, The Motormen were on a mission to the top. But first, came their toughest month yet against some of the toughest opponents they have ever faced.

Results

Had somebody told me that we would remain undefeated come the end of this month, I would have laughed at them. But after these results, I am in awe. We played some of our best football ever. We claimed a good draw against Wigan, before striking four past Brentford in an emphatic win. We then beat Leyton Orient in the FA Cup, before claiming a sneaky win over Swindon. Our next result was the most surprising, a 4-0 demolishing away to Birmingham. We then got two draws against Plymouth and Barnsley to end the month unbeaten. I am delighted with this set of results, it really does show the progress we have made over the last few months.

Player of the Month

Zac Fagan is my player of the month for November. He has been one of our best players this season, if not our best. He has been an absolute monster in the back line for us this month, and he also scored a goal against Brentford. Another impressive month for our Mr. Consistency.

NPower League One

Our impressive form has seen us climb to the top of the league. We are one point ahead of second placed Birmingham, and three points ahead of Leyton Orient and Rochdale, who are third and fourth respectively. We have been impressive on the goalscoring front and defensively, as can be seen on the table. Hopefully, we can stay in this end of the table and claim at least promotion.

New Signings

Leroy Lita is a former Chelsea youth who was signed on a free transfer. Through his career, he has played for Bristol City, Reading, Charlton, Norwich, Middlesbrough, Swansea and Sheffield Wednesday. In his day, Leroy was a very pacey striker who seemed to always be in the right place at the right time. Now that he is older, he has settled in to a more standard striker role, creating chances for his team mates aswell as for himself. He will be a brilliant player for us.
Star Signing
Fee: Free Transfer

Stephen Ireland is a Barclays Premier League veteran, having come through the Manchester City academy, becoming a star player, before being sold to Aston Villa. He is a very creative attacking midfielder who can score as well as he can create. He will be a useful addition to the squad, whilst we battle for promotion to the Championship, and maybe to the Premier League from there.
Fee: Free Transfer

December Fixtures

We open December with a very winnable FA Cup tie at home to Preston. We then have five league games, including a Boxing Day fixtures away to Wycombe. I am hoping to end 2017 on top of the league, if possible.
Great 'reunion' update, brilliant signings in Lita and Ireland, and it seems you're still going strong in the League 1! :)

That was an amazing win for us, we just pounded them! I did need another top striker, and that's exactly what Lita is! Stephen Ireland was signed to add experience and creativity to the side :)
