Kammy couldn't do it at Fulham, but can he do it at Southampton?

Southampton have officially announced the signings of John Fleck, Liam Trotter and Nathan Baker for a combined fee of £9m. Manager Chris Kamara has digged deep into his pocket and has already signed Rhys McCabe and done permanent deals for Shaun Cummings and Patjim Kasami, who were on loan at the club last season. Fleck has announced his delight at being able to play in the Premier League, after being sucked into a relegation fight with Coventry last season. "The Premier League is every footballer's dream. Of course I'm looking forward to our trips to Anfield and Old Trafford. Who wouldn't be?" Fleck said at his unveiling. Nathan Baker has previously been a bit part player in the top flight with Aston Villa, but he has been let go for £1m and he has also said of how he is looking forward to first team football in the Premier League with Southampton. "I wasn't a first team starter at Villa, and I hope I can be here, because Southampton are clearly a great club, and I want to do well for them". Kamara is clearly pleased with his signings, and has already said of how he is looking forward to seeing them in red and white.
Great signings Louis! :)

Yeah, Kasami was here on loan last year, and he was great, so I felt like I had to get him permanently.
Decent signings mate, good job.

Thanks, I did the deals as soon as I came, with the £40m transfer budget ;)
Rhys McCabe is quality. All the others are good signings too.

Thanks, McCabe cost the most, £7m.

"Well summer has come and as always, there is transfer dealings going on, but some of the dealings that have caught my eye, are Southampton's. We knew Chris Kamara would be making a few signings but he's getting the deals done early, and we look to have some great players coming in, especially Rhys McCabe, but Kamara has also said that he doesn't want to change the squad too much, which is interesting as he has made a few signings already. One of the main places that we will really need to srengthen is centre-back, and we've got Nathan Baker to go there, but I expect to see one or two more defenders coming in, especially seeing as Stefan Haagen is on the verge of leaving for Q.P.R. and Jose Fonte is heading to Ipswich. I'm pleased to see we've got Patjim Kasami and Shaun Cummings permanently after their loan spells last season, both of them played excellently well, and I'm looking forward to similar performances to consolidate our place in the Premier League."
