Great win in the cup final there, you must have been a little worried when you missed the penalty :p
neal: Thanks, and I'll try. Could be hard doing it all again though in the next season.

joe: Don't I was absolutely bricking it. Ansaldi is my favourite player for Rubin Kazan, so when I saw he had the chance to win it I thought it could be brilliant - then I had to play defensive for the rest of the match. :P

Rubin Do The Quadruple

Rubin Kazan have made history this season - not only by winning a European Cup for the first time, but completing the amazing feat of doing the quadruple! Andrei Kanchelskis, who took over in June 2012, was able to lead the team to do the impossible.

The team were able to first win the Russian Super Cup early in the season win a 2-1 win over rivals Zenit. The success then continued in the Europa League, with Rubin knocking out many teams, but beating Lyon in penalties in a game that ended 2-2. Success in the Russian Premier League came soon after, with the team racking up 20 wins, 5 draws, and 5 losses to edge victory by 2 points. Finally, Kanchelskis was able to top it all of with a win in the Russian Cup over Krylja Sovetov.

With this success, Andrei Kanchelskis has already entered the Russian Hall of Fame, even after just his first year in management.

However, afer such an incredible feat in his first season, how do Andrei go one better?
Congrats on winning the quadruple! What more can we expect? :P
Another title? Heheheh, maybe a quintiple next saeason or are you moving?
Justice96: Thank you. And right now, I don't know.. :P

Pauker: I really don't know, I'm kinda stuck now. I could stay at Rubin and try and win them again, but this season I have the Champions League instead and also the European Super Cup. I might look at the offers I get and available jobs, and then see from there.

Champions League Qualification

Andrei Kanchelskis has led Rubin Kazan to the UEFA Champions League for the 2013/2014 season. With winning the Europa League, and coming 1st in the League, Andrei certainly soiled their position in the massive competition.

The 2013 Champions League was won by Real Madrid, who beat PSG 2-0 in the final at Wembley, thanks to two early goals from Ozil and Benzema, followed by a Benzema sending off after just 15 minutes. Tournament favourites Barcelona were knocked out in the first knockout road to 4-3, who then lost to PSG 7-3 in the Quarter Final.

The 2014 Champions League final will be played at Estadio Du Luz, home of SL Benfica. The odds are yet to come in, but many believe Rubin Kazan won't be in contention at all for many.

Rubin Kazan will also play Real Madrid in the Euro Super Cup, playing at Eden Area, home of SK Slavia Prague. The game will be played on the 30th August.

Zenit St Petersburg Job Offer

http://good-wallpapers.com/wallpapers/19700/Zenit%20FC.%20St.%20Petersburg.jpg

AD - Alexandr Dyukov (Zenit Chairman)
AK - Andrei Kanchelskis

*phone rings*

AK - Hello?

AD - Ahh, Mr Kanchelskis. Hello, and thank you.

AK - Thank you? Who are you?

AD - Let me explain. I am Alexandr Dyukov. Yes, the Alexandr Dyukov. I would like to congratulate you. You did the impossible with Rubin Kazan. It is unbelievable. You are an incredible manager. But Rubin Kazan isn't for you. You need to be somewhere bigger, somewhere better.

AK - Wait, wait. So you are offering me a job at Zenit?

AD - That's exactly what I'm doing Mr Kanchelskis. £3,800 a week for a one year contract, which of course we would extend after the success you are bound to bring the club.

AK - What funds would I get at the club though, Rubin Kazan have offered me alot.

AD - Obviously, last season wasn't our greatest. However, we are happy to offer you a wage budget of £1 million, and a transfer budget of £4.3 million.

AK - The offer is certainly tempting, Zenit are a great club. On the other hand, Kazan have given me a £21 million wage budget, so that doesn't help your offer for me.

AD - I understand. Please take the offer into account though, we really want you here in Zenit.

AK - Mr Dyukov, thank you for the offer. It is certainly I will really consider. It is a brilliant offer, and I should have a final decision soon. Thanks again.

AD - Goodbye Mr Kanchelskis, all the best.

*phone call ends*

AK - This is tough now. Two brilliant offers. How do i decide? I'll go get some vodka and decide.

STAY!You beat them last year so there wouldn't be much point in moving, and you have only been at Rubin for 1 year so you should stay

Sorokin: I Want Kanchelskis To Stay

http://media.zenfs.com/en_US/Sports/AP_Soccer/201304100939347729129-p2.jpg

Following the recent possibility of a move to Zenit for Rubin Kazan boss Andrei Kanchelskis, Kazan chairman Sorokin has publiclly released a statement on the situation:

Andrei is a wonderful man. He is a wonderful man, a great friend, but most importantly, an amazing manager. He is one of a kind. Rubin had much success previously, with some excellent managers. No one has done this though. Andrei has made history, and changed football for Rubin Kazan. He bought the players together, and with his managerial magic, guided the squad to victory - in everything. I see why Zenit want him, but I want him more. Andrei has changed the club, but I, and everyone else at the club, want him to stay at get more success. Andrei is part of the club, and I hope he always will be. I would love Kanchelskis to stay here, and I will do everything possible to keep him here.

The statement was followed by a few quiet claps by journalists. However, Andrei Kanchelskis is yet to release any sort of statement of the situation.

Kanchelskis took over Rubin Kazan in July 2012 and has already entered the Russian Hall of Fame from his success in one season.

5000 VIEWS!!!

Oh ma gurd! Thank you everyone for 5000 views. It's great to be able to hit the 5k mark just before the end of the season. Now, I'm aiming for 10,000, hopefully by the end of next season. Thanks again for all the views, and the comments. They really help me in keeping the story going, so all are really appreciated. I still can't believe it! 5,000!!!
Congratulations Dev! :)
