Review:

It was a pretty boring game. However, to secure the title immediately we had to pick up all three points. The fate of the winner of the Russian League was down to the other games. Spartak Moscow could also win. 3 points and they would win the league. The result then came in. Spartak Moscow 1-1 Zenit. WE DID IT! WE WON THE LEAGUE! It was a narrow in, by 2 points, but it was ours. First the Russian Super Cup, then the Europa League, and now the Russian Premier League! The boys had done the treble, and still had the Russian Cup to look forward to. This shows we truly are Rubin Kazan: Russia's Finest.

Final League Table:

Congrats on the title Devil!

Ferguson: Andrei Deserves All The Praise

http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/02193/alex-ferguson_2193566b.jpg

World-class manager Alex Ferguson has praised Andrei Kanchelskis for his recent success in the league. Managing a club for the first time is never easy. It took me 5 years at Manchester United to gain any success, and for Kanchelskis to do this in his first ever season as a manager is outstanding.

"The tactical understanding, footballing knowledge, and connection with staff and players has helped Andrei become a brilliant manager. He deserves all the praise he gets from not only the league win, but the win in Europe. I am very proud to have been able to work with Kanchelskis, and I'm sure he will bring success to any club he wants for many years."

Ferguson also hinted that he may want Andrei to succeed him at Manchester United, with age meaning Sir Alex will soon have to leave his post as manager of Manchester United.

Kanchelskis has since thanked Ferguson for his kind words, but is yet to comment on the situation regarding Manchester United.
LJO: Thanks again, it's brilliant to top off the success in Europe with a title. It's what I dreamed of on day 1 of starting this, but thought it was a goal I would never achieve.
200th reply, just before anyone else does. :P
Well done on the league keep it up.

Kafanov: Kanchelskis Has Saved The Club

http://eng.kc-camapa.ru/img/news/b/20050618b.jpg

Vitaly Kafanov, the assistant manager at Rubin Kazan, has joined many in praising Andrei Kanchelskis for his many successes in his first year as a manager.

During a press conference about the win of the league title, Kafanov stated how he felt the club was going downhill, due to the amount of money now in the Russian league, and the strengthening of many teams.

Vitaly said how he thought that a few years ago, Zenit were the only dominant team in Russia, but since changes were made, teams such as Anzhi, CSKA Moscow, Spartak Moscow and Dinamo Moscow became bigger and better.

According to Vitaly, the club were going to crash and burn without the help of something special - Andrei Kanchelskis. He also said how working with Andrei for the 2012/2013 season was brilliant, one of his best at the club, and openly expressed he would want to stay as his assistant for many years, despite links to a managerial role at Mordovia.
Great stuff mate! Congrats on the treble! Will you remain at Kazan though?

Review:

We did the quadruple! Rubin Kazan have soiled their position as Russia's Finest, and defied all odds. Also, some lucky bugger went at put £100 on us winning everything at the start of the year, and he's walked away £40,000 richer! Most importantly, we have everything. This is the dream start to my career, and I am so proud of all the players. They really do deserve this.

The Final:

YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! WE WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN! Great wins and another title in the bag. Tis' is too easy ;)
PaukerJ: I think I have my tactic to thank for the success, but soon, if teams get used to playing it, I'm screwed! I'm gonna try and get as much success, and money, as possible, and build a stronger side that doesn't rely on a random tactic that luckily worked wonders. :P
Everyone seems to be going according to plan for you Devil. Congrats on the cup win. I hope you have even more success in the future.
