Being the manager of this team has made me enjoy the game so much more as you feel more nervous when it is a "lesser" team that you don't expect to do well, especially against teams like FC Barcelona! Definitely got the Football Manager bug back! Thanks for reading.

Quality work in getting Shelvey for such a low fee and very strong start to the season! Huge result with that draw against Barcelona, hopefully you can go one better in the Nou Camp

You did indeed see the mighty Huddersfield Town draw against the now inferior FC Barcelona, haha! It was such a tense game as they just piled on the pressure towards the end. It would be great if we could get something from the return match at the Nou Camp. Thanks for reading.

Despite him not getting much game time at Liverpool FC I was surprised that they were willing to let him go for such a small fee and I am even more surprised that he agreed to join us on not the highest ever contract. I do too we can get a positive result at the Nou Camp as that achievement would rank up with the top one’s from my experience on the game. Thanks for reading.

Managing to keep up Blue? I am not sure how we managed a draw but I was so happy when we got our goal – I think I might have actually jumped up and down a few times! Thanks for reading.

A very positive month! For us to come away with four points from our first two Champions League games is a great achievement and actually stands us in good stead to put up a fight in this competition and push for one of the top two spots. I am a bit gutted with the performances in the Premier League, especially against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United as I feel we are better than this two sides and should be walking away with 6 points instead of 2. The next four games are awful for us with two games against Chelsea, one against Manchester United and a visit from Zenit St. Petersburg.

He is doing so well now he is starting playing every game from the start. He's managing to keep Destro out of the team. I will post the league table at the end of year review which is not many updates away :) thanks for reading!

Great so far! Weimann and Fierro were big let downs for me (especially Weimann) but Ademilson was an absolute beast for me!

I think I'm too late to get Admeilson for a cheap price. Fierro has started very well whereas Weimann seems to be going off the boil a little bit and I will be telling him to that effect. I've got Pacheco who is desperate to play so he may have to step into Weimann's position! Thanks for reading. UTT!

Capital One Cup Third Round



I can’t complain about the effort that the lads put into this match. I was hoping that we went 2-1 up that we would be able to sit back and see out the game but a lucky second goal from Dede signalled our downfall. I am still pleased however that we can go into games against the big teams and still perform well. This will stand us in good stead for the remainder of the season as it is against the big teams that we need to try get more points from as well as picking up points against the “lesser” teams. Being out of this cup, which is one I don’t care too much about, will free up some time for the players to recuperate which is key for a team like ours.
