Moyes: 'De Gea Is One Of The Greats'
Today in a post match interview, David Moyes stated he felt Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea is one of the greats. After some rotating between the three first team goalkeepers, David De Gea has appeared as one of the finest in the world. David De Gea hasn't conceded a goal for over 350 minutes in all competitive games, last conceding against PSG on the 3rd October, exactly a month ago today. Meanwhile, in the premier league, he has played in 10 games, and is yet to concede.
Moyes told us 'David has been brilliant this year. He had been making brilliant saves, helping everyone out, and also helping out with Lindegaard and new signing Antonio [Adan]. His record this season just shows how good is he, not many, if any, other goalkeepers have gone 10 league games without conceding this year. David De Gea is one of the greats, and he will be key in helping us lift title number twenty this year.'
David De Gea joined Manchester United from Atletico Madrid in 2011, for a fee of £17.25 million. At the start of his English career, fans weren't sure, but as the season progressed fell in love with the goalkeeping of De Gea. Last season he played 29 games for the Red Devils.
David is valued at £9 million and currently earning £50k per week.
