Better, a much better month! Finally a month where I can look back on and go "Do ya know what, That was ok". The last few updates have been very difficult so I'm just glad I can write about something positive!

The month began as previous ones had, with defeats. Perhaps our worst result of the season came when we were knocked out by lower league opposition in a trophy that we were currently defending. The add salt to our wounds we put out a strong side and were forced through a grueling 120 mins which destroyed our fitness. This was followed up with an encouraging preformance against Hereford which we were narrowly defeated.

The game against Barnet was labelled a relegation 6 pointer but the football never lived up to the pre-match hype. A bore 0-0 but a point which pleased me. We then faced "The Impossible" with an away trip to Dartford and had we of lost we would have equaled the club longest run without a win in history of 15 games. We were dominated throughout the game but managed to withstand the pressure. We managed to snatch an unlikely late goal which saw me sprint onto the pitch in Jubilation! We desperately needed a win and we got it!

We followed our 3 points up with another astonishing result against high flying Woking. A 3-0 win and a polished preformance which makes me wonder why we haven't been playing like this all season. Nuneaton defeated us through a late winner which was a bit annoying, however we managed to do the same to bottom place Grimsby with a 90th minute equaliser.

Our preformances this month managed to lift us off the bottom of the table and gives us a shot of staying up. It will need a huge effort from all the players but we Need to build on this momentum!

League Table

Carshalton are 21st, 1 point from safety

Thanks for the comment!

Hopefully we can stay up! Will follow your story too mate

Another strong month for us picking up 7 out of 12 points in the league. A great win against fellow relegation rivals Lincoln put us a few points off bottom. An unexpected away win on TV against Dag and Red, a defeat to Newport County and a good draw against promotion chasing Bath rounded off the rest of the month. With our recent form, I am confident we can avoid relegation.

Another solid month as we bid to climb out of the relegation scrap at the bottom. Our 5 game unbeaten run came to an end at the hands of 1st place Torquay. It was an expected defeat so morale is still high in the camp. A good win against Guiseley pushed us away from the drop zone I could finally breath a sigh of relief! We can only build on recent form and hope to secure our status in this league for next season and then build for the following season.

League Table

Carhshalton are 17th, 4 points off relegation
There he goes! The slow meteoric rise up the table haha safety will be yours as long as you keep up this form mate

Haha Cheers mate!

47 Points has been enough to save a club for the last 2 years. Its very achievable, I plan for 50 :)
This season=Survive
Next season=Promotion?

Exactly mate, Next season I will add more quality to the squad if we stay up. The goal will to be to challenge for the playoffs. The football league needs Carshalton!
I'm certain you will not be relegated and you can fight for playoffs next season!

A tough month to take after out recent form. 3 defeats and only 1 win means that we are still not safe with just 4 games to go, although it makes for an entertaining end I would much rather be safe! The main dissapointment of the month was the 2-0 home defeat to Braintree who are in the relegation scrap with us. A win in that game would have all but secured us BSP football next season. We currently have 46 points another 3 points in my eyes would keep us up but we will play for as much as we can. If we do go down, I would understandably be very dissapointed, the media have written us off from day 1 and I have proved them wrong every season, I plan to keep that record up.

If we stay up which I expect us to, Our Club stature will continue to stay strong and with the right backing from the board I will carefully sign the right players to let us compete with the big boys next season. Hala Carshalton!

Nightmare Situation

1 game left in our season. 1 game to save us. We had it in our own hands but some poor games and other results going against us has seen us drop into the relegation zone for the first time in a few months. We are 1 point off safety so a win is needed. AFC Telford play Woking who are 17th. If Woking can manage to beat Telford, a draw would keep us up due to our much better goal difference.

All we can do now is hope. It's been great to play in this league but our squad just haven't been up to it. If we do stay up it would be fantastic but I am very pessimistic now. I'll be saying my prayers before kick off, wish us luck!

You can do it mate!! :)
Very tough situation, go on Woking!
