Skin for FM 2020 regular career mode and widescreen (1920x1080).

This is the FLUT Skin ("dark" version) for FM20. As usual, the Flut skin is completely full of changes when you compare with the default skin.

For many years I keep trying to edit a skin who can help FM Fans to better enjoy our game.
With the direct or indirect help of many FM players and FM skinners (thank you all) I created many stuff (such as the citypics, the rotating images of stadiums in club overview panel or the back and front kits displayed in player overview panel, just to mention some of the ones I consider most relevant).


Therefore, now, in FLUT Skin you can find the instant result option, the background/opacity selector, compatibility of player picture (in player overview panel) with DF11 and Scope facepacks styles, the animated intro match, front and back kits displaying in player overview panel, compatibilty with citypics and much…much more!!!

And now you can personalize FlutSkin more than ever!!
I included 14 alt folders in this pack. You just need to read the read me file in order to know how you can use them:
1. Alt. for sidebar - alt FM20 FlutSkin sidebar matching club colour (works only with the no hidden sidebar)
This folder is for those who want to use a coloured sidebar according each club colour.
2. Seven alts. for club overview panel - club overview alt1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7

3. Alt. for player overview panel layout - player overview alt - flutskin 18
Files for return to the player overview layout I used in FlusSkin 1.8
4. Alt for attributes panel - alt for player overview without background boxes as default and for player profile and player popup without background boxes
5. Alt for player overview panel without CA and PA values
6. Skin without background pictures
An alt client object browser.xml file for those who prefer playing the game with a solid background instead of pictures backgrounds (stadiums, cities, players, etc)
7. Alts for No Hidden Sidebar (the default sidebar) - for light and dark skin
8. Alt for playing with the tactics panel as in the 2.1 version (only displaying the back kit)


The Skin pack also includes:
1. “Round country flags”, “round continents logos” and default logos specially made in metallic style by BRIAN-Q from sourtitoutsi. Those graphics will be displayed in the title bar.
2. Background maps for confederations, also made by brian-q. Thank you brian by your great work and for your collaboration!!!

You can download the 2D packs prepared for Flutskin (titlebar and player overview panel). For that you should search for that kits pack elsewhere since the download link in FMScout is down due copyright issues.
However, if you prefer edit your own kits, I also included in the pack a .pdf file explaining how you can edit the kits for Flutskin.

Resolution requirements:
This skin was made to work properly in 1920x1080 (1080p) full screen mode, sidebar icons only. As a result, some panels won’t work properly in other resolutions (and also in 1920x1080 windowed mode).. If you use a 4K screen with 3840x2160 you can use it in 200% zoom and the skin will works perfectly!!

How to add Flut Skin in FM20

Download and extract the .rar file (using either 7-Zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for Mac).

Place the "fm2020flutskin_dark" folder here:
Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2020\skins

  1. Create the folder "skins" if it doesn't exist.
  2. Start FM20 and go to Preferences screen and then into the Interface tab.
  3. You should see FM 2020 Flut Skin dark - Version 2.2 as an option in the skin drop down of the Overview box.
  4. Hit the Confirm button.

Please note this skin is provided as is. It has nothing to do with Sports Interactive or SEGA and won't be supported by them.

    Hi gingerdilligaf: I didn't any changes on that stuff in 1.7, comparing with 1.6. Thus I believe there is a conflict with other skin. Try to clear the cache, keep this skin only and reload the game.

    Just updated to 1.7 and having the problem with stadium pics covering kits for some teams. Can you please let me know how I should have my graphics folder set up to fix this?Thanks great skin

    Hi all: I noticed I forgot to change the normal circular role rating graphics (I only changed the @2x). Thus, I believe the graphic displayed in the games you play with 100% is a liitle bit weird. Therefore, I decided to do a pack with the changed graphics of circular role rating. Here is the screenshot where you can see how it will be looked. If you like it, download the .rar, unpacked and put the folder (in the link) (named circular) in Documentos\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2020\skins\fm2020flutskin_dark\graphics\icons\custom\role rating (overwrite the other one).

    I have the same problem as Drumboy; I use your 1.6. Version, I've already done everything; Cache cleared, skin loaded, the whole procedure; maybe you have another tip? @DRUMBOY, does it work for you now? What did you do if it worked?

    NialMitch14 - the numbers are not adjusted within Flut's skin you need to go to Preferences>>Advanced>>Custom Skin Colour>>Skin Colours where you can adjust your threshold values for excellent, good and average

    hey flut, i think i found a bug with the new version. when you hit continue on the upper right corner there is a panel which shows the fixtures of your team. it shows that all my fixtures are away all the time.

    NiallMitch14: the code is in settings.xml and is that one I told you. However, as I also said, in the attributes with background boxes the number will be white in spite of the changes you do. However, if you choose in the drop down arrow the option "Attributes without background box" you will see the colours you choose.

    Hi Flut, sorry I meant the actual number to determine if an attribute is normal, good etc? As in between 11-15 is seen as good if you know what I mean :)

    NiallMitch14: If you are talking about the background boxes, go to settings.xml and change:

    If you want to change the values (the number):

    <colour name="excellent attribute" red="83" green="249" blue="83" />

    However using the background boxes the name will be white (that code doesn't work, since in the xml we wrtoe white as colour for number)

    zabak: The method to make the change is that I already told you (and unticked the use caching, since you shouldn’t not use caching). Thus, sorry but I I don't know how to help you anymore...

    try the following: delete all the code lines from 443-483 (in the settings.xml). After that, change the values in the code

    exit the game, reload it and don't forget to untick the check box in the preferences of the game: “use caching to decrease page loading times”.

    Hi drumboy: yes. If you use 20.2 you should use 1.6. I changed the code according the changes of SI in the new version. Thus, if you didn't update the game, you must not use the 1.7 version.

    Hi Flut, I am sorry to bother you again. I really don't know where I make mistake because I tried to quit the game, start the game, clear cache (the "use cache" option was never checked/activated), load the game and the screen keep missing some pictures



    Do you think it has something to do with the game version? Because I am still using the 20.2.0 version.

    If that's the problem maybe I'll use 1.6 skin version

    Hi copywriter: if you have the 2D kit (like in Maach) that kit will be displayed for all of team players (we don't have a different 2D kit for goalkeepers). If you don't have the 2D kit, the game will display the default kit and, then, will be the goalkeeper kit (as you can see behind your SSkit in Maach).
    Regarding the other question, when you go to player picture in national team, after that, when you go to the player picture in the club team, the default kit is from the national team (even in last eleven in the club overview panel). I don't know how to explain that and why it happens. In order to be displayed the right kit you just have to do "continue".

    If you don't have the 2D kits, the front default kit of the club will be displayed.

    is it correct that the goalkeeper has a teamshirt? And that players from a club with no kits in 2D the kit from the national team shows?

    Hi drumboy: the 2D kits don't causes that problem. And in this new version that missing images problem are fixed. Thus, maybe you should clear the cache and reload the game.
