Chelsea's much loved Portuguese boss, José Mourinho has ruled out a move for Real Sociedad's Center back, Dória. The 55 year old has categorically denied that he has spoken to the Brazilians agent, Ruben Bonfirm.

"He is a good player. Good enough to play for Chelsea? Maybe. But we already have some great defenders here at Chelsea - we do not need another squad player. I am happy with my squad for the most part and I am definitely not looking to overspend on a player that has had a good season."

"I have not spoken to anyone about signing him [Dória] and neither has anyone else that works for Chelsea, so I'm not too sure where his agent is getting this information. Maybe the player decided he didn't want to play for Tottenham and his agent needs to drum up some interest."

The comments will certainly add fuel to the blazing fire that is already burning brightly between Mourinho and Villas-Boas.

We are delighted to announce that we have reached an agreement with Real Sociedad for the transfer of Dória for £32m.

The Brazilian International started his career at Botafogo, making his debut in 2012. During that time, he managed to make 87 league appearances, scoring twice. He helped the club lift the Campeonato Estadual do Rio de Janeiro in 2013 and 2014.

In July 2014, he made a move to Spanish side Real Sociedad for £8m, where he has spent the past 4 years. During his time at the Spanish club, he made 139 league appearances, scoring 5 goals. He was awarded the Young Player of the Year (Jugador joven del año) for his performances in the 2015/2016 season, aged 21. He was also included in La Liga's Team of the Season in 2018.
