I made one more signing since last month, and it's a brilliant one too...

Like Jovetic, Navas, Fabregas and a number of world-class players this season, Pjanic had officially been released by Manchester United and we have snapped him up on a free transfer. He will be a perfect replacement for the now-retired Rafael van der Vaart who had a brilliant season here at Rochdale before changing roles to a coach.
Our pre-season was okay, but it could have been a lot better even though I fielded weak squads against those teams:
FULL SQUAD LIST
Here is the list of everyone that I have registered for this upcoming season, including squad numbers:
Goalkeepers
Defenders
Midfielders
Forwards
Here are the fixtures for next month, we begin the season away at Nottingham Forest. Plus, we've been drawn against Rubin Kazan from Russia and we hope to get good results so we can move on into the Champions League for the first time:
Author's Notes
Champions League is on the horizon for Rochdale, but my primary target this season is to win the Capital One Cup or the FA Cup. Let's do this!
We've had an okay start to the Premier League, let's hope we keep it up and manage Europa League qualification this year at the least:

This deal was done almost two years ago and Berradi has finally joined the club. He can play both centre-mid and in centre defence mid.

We smashed our transfer record fee twice this season, and this one beat the other one by a mile. Quinteros is the perfect winger for the Premier League and I personally think he is the next Cristiano Ronaldo.
We had a splendid month in our second season in the Premier League, and I hope we can carry this on for the rest of the year:
Nottingham Forest 0-1 Rochdale AFC (A)
Barclays Premier League
Medo (86')
Grant Hall (Nottingham Forest) -- 7.9
Match Review A great start to the season with a narrow defeat against our old rivals Nottingham Forest who have been on our nerves since a few seasons ago.
Rubin Kazan 1-4 Rochdale AFC (A)
UEFA Champions League Best Placed Playoff 1st Leg
Scott Hogan (2', 20') Will Keane (24' 32') Gabor Hegedus (60')
Scott Hogan (Rochdale AFC) -- 9.4
Match Review We were clear underdogs in this match as is was away from home, but my new formation (4-2-3-1) completely baffled them and we came back with a victory that almost ensured we would go into the Champions League this season.
Rochdale AFC 0-2 Manchester City (H)
Barclays Premier League
Julian Draxler (74', 86')
Julian Draxler (Manchester City) -- 9.1
Match Review This match reminded us what the BPL is all about, and it's fair to say that it brought us back to earth. A 2-0 defeat isn't what we really needed right now, but it can only get better from here.
Rochdale AFC 2-1 Rubin Kazan (H)
UEFA Champions League Best Placed Playoff 2nd Leg
Duvan Zapata (23') Scott Hogan (25') Vladimir Granat (o.g. 48')
Scott Hogan (Rochdale AFC) -- 7.5
Match Review This is it, we're finally into Europe! It's been a long time since I joined and I think I've worked miracles here at Rochdale... Champions League, here we come!
UEFA Champions League Group Draw
Okay great, we're royally fucked for the Champions League...
Player of the Month
The PoTM award goes to Justin Schmidt, who also won the Barclays Premier League Young Player of the Month award for August. He's played superbly in the two Premier League matches this season and let's hope he stays with us for long as Dortmund are very interested in signing him... but they'll have to meet our £35m valuation of the player if they want to talk to him.
Here are the fixtures for next month:
