Keegans Notes

I am fucking pulling my hair out here. We get ourselves into a good league position and then hit some horrid form. We won in the F.A Cup but lost every other match this month. First we were lacklustre against Blackburn. We were awful but as awful as against Spurs, Chelsea and Manchester United all on BT Sport and we lost them all. Only a goal against Spurs through Damir Gadjski was all we scored this month.

The F.A Cup however was a bit different, we are racing through and maybe could be a trophy opportunity here. It would also mean a spot in the Europa League. This was won by half time when Gary Woods scored an own goal then Gadjski and Kinteh scored within 22 minutes. After this match I ripped into them and told them they had to play like that in the league!!

We drop two places to 11th but are only 3 points off 9th place. Stoke lost ground but still lie in 4th place. I want to give a shout out to my youngsters I signed because after the shit that the older member of the squad have been producing I have dropped them!

I am glad we had such good form earlier on in the season.
A bad month...but Spurs, Chelsea and Manchester are top teams, so isn't a dissaster!
AAN Thanks update on spurs soon too

Keegans Notes

So after the debacle of last month I told them they had to improve and in a way they did but not straight away. I have interest from Man Utd and Arsenal for Renzo Biondi and Antonio Cirjak. Both are not for sale at any price.

Our first match of a double header against West Borm the first one was the Premier League. When Mason gave us the lead on the 19th minute after we had started very well but it did not last. West Brom got themselves back into it and found themselves 3-1 up after 31 minutes! I had a go at them on the field and when Damir made it 3-2 from a superb deadball freekick I new we were back in it. I told the guys at half time that I wanted more! I bought Welbeck on for Rebic and he had a goal harshly ruled out befor the 70th minute they scored and we lost 4-2.

Six days later we had West Brom at home and I told the lads we need to get revenge but despite us scoring first again! Antonio hit a header in from a Pingoto corner and I honestly hoped that we could hold on and at half time we were ahead and looking good at half time. I told them to keep up the good work, but whatever there manager said worked a treat and by 50 minutes we were second to everything and 2-1 down. Despite huffing and puffing the whistle went and we were defeated again to West Brom.

I was not happy at all and Antonio came out and told the press this but the team listened and I changed the formation for the match against Cardiff to 5-2-1-2 and it worked a treat, we were tight defensively and Renzo got the opener on the 59th minute, it was what we deserved and Biondi, Zeljicek and King were solid. I then sent on experienced striker Danny Welbeck on the 80th minute to good effect. Just when Cardiff had there first corner in the second minute of time added on it was a long hopeful clearance that Welbeck used his experience to round the keeper and score for a 2-0 win and a rare clean sheet.

We then played the surprise package, Stoke who have had an amazing season and are in the title recogning. I left five at the back but it was an error by Zulu that led to an Alex McCarthy own goal. I was proud with how we played though and it could have gone either way.

Forest fans celebrate there 4-3 win against Reading

The match of the month was against Reading. They went into half time 3-0 up and I have no idea why as they only had 5 shots on goal. I told the players that they get lazy in the second half. Reading again have been solid this season and they don't usually but I thought if I say that it will help. I took Pingoto off for Kinteh and it worked. They could not contain his pace and when he whipped a cross in for Rebic to get one back I new we were in it. Cirjek then won a free kick on the 55th minute which he stepped up to take himself...It was a cracking shot and the keeper did not move as it hit the top corner. On the 80th minute Lewis King connected with a Rebic cross to make it 3-3 and reading were running scared. As time was running out Smith motored down the left and saw Kinteh free he gave it to the 16 year old powerhouse who just ran and danced around the static defence to side foot home and give Forest a priceless win and also show that when we go down we don't always lose.

Reading and Watford are doing well this season. Reading are becoming a permanent fixture in the Premier League now. We are doing well in the top half now and aslong as each season we are moving up I will be happy.
You're doing well! Next season with some transfers and a little bit of luck, you can challenge for Europa League!
AAN If it finish strong I could gatecrash them this season

Keegan Signs New Contract

Keegans Notes

[/URL]

I today signed a two year contract extension today worth 31,500 a week. The contract status for Keegan was intensified when Rafa Benitez got sacked by Tottenham. Spurs, who have been disappointing this season got rid to stop there alarming slump in form.

The bookies made me the 7/2 favourite to take the post, I immediately said I did not want it but used it to my advantage as Forest wanted to keep me. Spurs did not even approach me and the job actually went to Paul Lambert, the man responsible for taking Villa, Wigan and Liverpool down. So Spurs might well struggle next season.

Lambert has already took three teams down will Spurs be next?

Antonio Cirjak is happy that I am staying and said 'I am very happy that Kevin is staying because if he leaves then I also leave.' Others that are pleased include Alex McCarthy, Ante Rebic and Renzo Biondi who will now also sign a contract extension.

Keegans Notes

If you had said to me two months ago that with 2 matches left, 5th place would be attainable I would have laughed at you. I called a team meeting and told them with the end of the season coming up I needed 110% commitment. I told them that now I had signed a contract, virtually no one was going to leave or going to come in. We really needed some good results but I looked at the fixture list with some skepticism.

Watford looked a tough match, they are in form and around the same position as us but if we work hard we could win. West Ham are fighting for there life in the relegation zone so we would have to be on our toes, whereas Arsenal and Manchester City were both on TV. Arsenal was a 5.30pm kick off on ITV Sport whereas Man City was a 12.45 kickoff on Eurosport.

I went back to 4-3-1-2 for the Watford home match and it was a sell out! 30,445 people clambered to see my inform reds, whoever won WOULD have an outside chance of getting upto 7th with a win. The first half was pretty dull and I told them that they had to make things happen. I bought 19 year old Gabriele Ghedin on and his speed destroyed Watford. Rebic stuck first in the 49th minute after great play by Linale who played a delightful ball through to the racing Rebic who hit it into the bottom corner. We doubled the lead through Cirjak on the 64th minute when Rebic turned provider with a drilled cross for Cirjak to tap home after the keeper missed it completely. We then got at Watford more and in the 78th and 86th minute Ghedin scored 2 amazing goals. The first he skinned 3 players like they were asleep and then chipped the Watford keeper the second was a overhead kick from a Linale cross and we had completed a 4-0 victory. I told the guys how happy I was and we moved on to West Ham.

The West Ham match was interesting because West Ham looked like a team already going down so when Jack Hunt, a player I am interested in signing this summer scored an own goal it was like West Ham could not be bothered. At half time i say if we didn't keep a clean sheet there was something seriously wrong with us and on the 89th minute we put the game to bed when Gajski headed home a Binteh cross for a 2-0 win. We are starting to put pressure on 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th places now I told my team knowing full well that Arsenal were coming next.

I decided to go for Pingoto for the Arsenal match and on the 31st minute he scored a special goal. He got the ball on the edge of the area with 3 defenders in his way. He fished his way through them and smashed it into the roof of the net. Rastoll though went straight up the other end and had equalised on the 32nd minute. Arsenal had the better after that but Damir Gadjski has been excellent for me this season and made it 2-1 on the 42nd minute with a free kick after Pingoto was bought down. At half time I told the lads to make sure we win because we are in an excellent position. We hit the bar 3 times before it was 3-1 and Gadjski scored a wonderful chip. on the 91st minute though rastoll got his second of the game to make it 3-2 but we held on.........JUST.

Man City were awful and despite taking the lead after 45 seconds it was the only shot on goal they had. Diego Reyes scored an own goal to make it 1-1 and I told the guys that they are there for the taking and fuck me did we press in the second half! Gadjski hit the post on 50 minutes, Cirjak came close on 79 minutes. then with time running out Ghedin, a second half subsitute went over very easily and a free kick was awarded. Ante Rebic stepped up and scored a dramatic winner to take the game and Man City were fuming, I could not give a damn we won!

Gabriele Ghedin got 3rd in young player of the month, he has been outstanding for me this month and deserves the recognition.

I claimed the manager of the month award and I can safely say we have played some gorgeous football and deserve it.

We are now just 4 points 5th spot but it is ridiculously tight but European Football might not be far away if we win our last two matches
Great form! Keep going!
