We Will Become Super Powers

Hibernian are today counting the money and thing could well never be the same again at Easter Road after Scottish Businessman Lee Mitchel successfully completed a takeover of the Scottish Premiership club.

Mitchell, who made his money by owning health clubs and the British franchise of KFC is a lifelong Hibs fan and has said he will stop at nothing to bring success to the club and will invest A LOT of money into the club.

According to The Edinburgh Evening News, Mitchell has promised that he will ensure Hibs become one of the greatest forces in domestic and continental football.

I personally think this is a good thing but what he wanted to do will be very interesting being in Scotland because Celtic have other than 2 season been champions for the last 20 season's.

Keegan About To Hit 200 Forest Games

I will celebrate my 200th game in charge of Nottingham Forest when we play Swansea City in the McDonald's Premier League on Saturday.

With Forest playing steadily in the league, I will want to make sure that my players dont pay too much attention to this landmark and turn their thoughts to the match itself.

Keegan has been in charge of Forest since leaving England in August 2022 and has two 4th places to his name in the Premier League. I lifted the World Cup in 2022 and been in charge of Forest for 4 years now.

I also have one Manager Of The Year Trophy to my name too.

Back On Track

So me and my Forest team are back on track with some awesome results in the Capital One Cup and the Champions League this month. Oh and I almost forgot beating Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Goals from Ghedin, Williams who was against his old club and Barkley managed to eek out a win but the star man was also former player Jamie Nightingale. We played well though and it was a deserved victory.

We then played Aston Villa and we got another good result when after just 19 minutes it was game over. Impressive left winger Giordano Darmian scored twice within the first 4 minutes and Gabriele Ghedin scored a brace too only for Villa to hit two back in the second half but the damage was done already.

We then played Shalke in week 3 of the Champions League and kept a clean sheet. Vermeulen scored an o.g in the 7th minute but then came the goal that went down best with youngster John Keegan, who had been a revelation this season hit his first Forest goal from a header. Ghedin scored the 3rd goal on the 79th minute to give us another European away victory.

Norwich City were also dispatched 3-2 with goals from Ghedin, Darmian and Kyle got the goals to give us a 3-2 victory.

We then beat that tosser Joleon Lescott to progress into the quarter finals of the Capital One Cup. Keegan scored again in the 23rd second from a corner and Vadala and ghedin finished off the job and it was another clean sheet.

Lescott then said we completely outplayed him and also Tommy Cotton got the man of the match award.

We then lost to Swansea on my 200th managerial match. It is one I want to forget.

McDonald's Premier League Table

Fulham are the shock team at the top with West Brom in forth place. Reading are in the top half again and we are currently 6th but just 4 points behind Fulham.

Capital One Cup Quarter Final Draw

Some pundits like Arsene Wenger and Phil Neville say we have the easiest draw and although I agree Birmingham have won this competition before and there ar eno easy matches here. Fulham vs Man Utd stands out to me.

Uefa Champions League Group F

After the fantastic win away to Shalke, us and PSG have this group in our control so it will all come down to the match at The City Ground to who will top the group because the other two teams look very poor.

Upcoming Fixtures

We have two very important matches in the Champions League this month and I have told them to get a win and a draw but two wins would be better. We can beat Leeds, Newcastle and Arsenal are must win matches IF we wanna challenge for the League Title.
Very well done so far in your Champions League group, if you can beat Schalke in the upcoming match you'll be in good shape.
Neal yeah I thought so in what I thought was going to be close now is not close but good news for us and PSG

Forest and Shalke Serve Up A Thriller

vs

Ex Manchester United man played his part as super-sub for Nottingham Forest as The Reds came from behind to beat a spirited Schalke side on a very windy evening at The City Ground.

Things did not get off to a good start for Forest as Honduras Captain Victor Padilla seized on an error by Jamie Nightingale to score a well timed close range finish. Experianced midfielder Ahmed Ibrahim doubled Shalke's lead with a well time finish on the 6th minute.

Then though it was Shalke's turn to make an error as Darmian scored a simple finish but after 36 minutes Ibrahim added his second goal of the match with a placed shot from 16 yards out.

Striker Piter pulled one back for Forest a minute later with a good header from just inside the six yard box and then centre-back Morgan Thomas then equalised for Forest in the 45th minute and we went in 3-3, surely it couldn't get better than this first half..... But it did.

Padilla then added his second goal of the game with an accurate finish on 45 minutes. Experienced midfielder Ross Barkley, who was also bought on at the break then made it 4-4 with a close range finish in which it was timed impeccably.

Ibrahim then gave the lead back to Shalke with his third goal of the game by shooting in a free kick from 30 yards out on the 54th minute. Forest though have this never give up attitude and when Adam William made it 5-5 on the 69th minute Forest would have took a draw.

Piter though had other ideas and on the 74th minute he made it 6-5 to Forest with a placed shot they managed to hold on for a priceless but amazing victory.

The win sees Forest top there group with two matches to play because PSG drew with CSKA in Russia.

Not Half Bad

So just one hiccup this week and it was in cold Russia as CSKA Moscow got an unlikely 3-0 victory in the champions League. Other than that things went according to plan.

The Shalke result was huge for us. to win 6-5 just showed how determined we are this season to get back into the knockout round.

We then kept a clean sheet against Newcastle with Piter scoring after just 23 seconds and Thomas from a header to send us in 2-0 up at half time. I told them to just keep at it and the rest of the goals will flow. Ross finished off the job on the 61st and we are flying in the league again.

Barley hit the winner against Newcastle

The match against Leeds went the same as the previous match but this time it took Piter 40 seconds longer to score. the Gabriele Ghedin got the second and we were 2-1 up at half time only this time we got two extra goals in adam Williams and Guido Vadala. Vadala has been mostly disappointing since his big money move but I have faith in him.

Then we lost to a CSKA team playing in Russia on a artificial pitch in the snow at -3. Things are not in your favour really but we are still top of the group.

We then drew with Arsenal and Piter scored a dubious penalty but do you know what we need some luck sometimes.

McDonald's Premier League Table

Chelsea still lead the way in the League and Fulham and West Brom keep up there good start. We are in 6th but only 3 points off the top spot.

Sorry Liverpool should be going straight back down again, they are a club in a lot of trouble.

Champions League Table

Still top and just need 1 point to secure qualification. Still a way we could go out though so must be careful.

Forest Player Of The Month

This guy has been scoring for fun and is definitely showing he is worth so much money and rightly deserves my player of the month award.
