Josh Thanks, it was the best possible start :D

CarlosV Haha, I wouldn't say that. The only reason for this is because I'm predicted to come first and our division is one of the easiest in the whole National Championship. Thanks for reading :)

Nealão Thanks mate :D

October: Goal-Dry Yet Still On Top

Oriental's fine spell of form continued throughout October

Match Results

We began the month with a tough task ahead of us in the shape of Casa Pia. Luckily we came home with another valuable three points in the bag. Loures were not to be taken lightly and despite our form it was a difficult game, however we again came away with a one goal winning margin.

An away trip to Sporting Ideal was the perfect opportunity to grab some vital away goals and we delivered, as the team on the bottom of the table could not stop us in our rampant form. In the next round of the Taça de Portugal we were put up against National Championship - D side Lus. Vildemoinhos and we scraped through and continued our dream journey in the cup.

The month ended with a home game against CF Benfica and again we used our solid defensive display to ensure the win, gritting out our fourth one-goal win of the month.

League Table

This winning streak continued and we made it eleven competitive wins out of eleven! An astounding run of form. Despite this I feel the goals dried up a bit this month and we'd like to score a bit more in future. However a win is a win and I can't take away the boys' effort.

The Cup Draw

FC Famalicão

A tough task but we should get by. They've been playing well in their respective National Championship Division and if we do progress it could set up a mouth watering clash with one of Portuguese football's giants! Long may the run continue.

The Month Ahead

It's a short league season, only 18 games - so the cycle has begun again. We've beaten all these teams before so I know we can do it again. Praiense are always tough but at home I always back my boys. 1o Dezembro are in poor form which could give us an opportunity to get some vital away goals. Famalicão and O Elvas will both be interesting games - both in form sides that will be tough to match.

The final game is versus Sintrense, a side we trounced 5-1 away from home last time, so I have high hopes for when we host these guys at our place!
Great run of form, the league is yours! :D

Sporting Ideal have lost 9 games on the trot...that's not so Ideal :v
Great series man just read it all today to catch up and I'm loving it. Unfortunately mine have gone bad in the respect of not having the full game :( (need someone to fund it for me) and trying to learn of others in the wrong way.

Good Luck :)

Arvind the puns B)

sott Thanks :)

pompey Thanks but as I said to Justice, this league is only the first phase :P Winning it will be very helpful though.

NOTE: My GC is not working on my computer but is on my phone, is there any way I can fix this? :/
No clue Walter, same is happening to me. I've PM'd Stam about it, will have to wait and see though. I'm on chat on my iPad.

November: The Run Is Ended

Oriental's 100% record was ended by Sintrense

Match Results

The month began on a positive note with a comfortable 4-2 victory over Praiense, although I would've liked to have avoided conceding on two occasions. The month went from good to great as we again scored four goals and kept a clean sheet! The 4-0 defeat of Dezembro was a brilliant one and again, those away goals will be very valuable if we are to slip up in future.

In the Taça de Portugal we played very well to beat FC Famalicão away from home and progress to the next round, where we'd face an interesting clash in the next round - all will be revealed! Yet again, O Elvas proved they are a tough side as we could only get a 1-0 win. The month turned sour when we played disgustingly against Sintrense, who ended our long winning streak.

League Table

Annoyingly, the table was not screenshotted - but I can reveal that we safely qualified for the Promotion Stage! If I can recall, we were about 13 points clear of second place, and we had only two or three games in the league season remaining, so we are in a good position at the moment and it gives us ample time to prepare to face some of the tougher teams.

The Month Ahead

It's a short month and one where we need to pick up points in order to maintain morale and stability. Despite the loss to Sintrense I tried not to be too hard on them as I have relied on a great harmony throughout the squad to propel me to many close wins. If anything is going to get us over the line, it's the team spirit.
WOW u finish so far infront and u still might lose out, harsh!

Unlucky about the loss but it was still a good month!

jason Yeah ikr, it's a bit weird. I think I get 50% of my points though so I need to get a high tally!
