It's been another interesting few days over at Horsfall Stadium as Adam Chabukiani brings in seven additions to his squad, while letting one of his loyal colleagues leave.
With the club lacking in depth following the release and sales of many talented players of last season's campaign, the manager Chabukiani took it upon himself to snap up seven more free agents ahead of this season.
The first of which is Stephen Arthurworrey, the Fulham youth graduate. The centre-back came through the former Premier League team's academy, but only made three appearances throughout his entire spell at Craven Cottage. His stay at the club was flooded with loan deals including Tranmere Rovers, Yeovil Town and Luton Town, all of which were very successful according to club staff at the time. However, with the 23-year-old's contract expiring on 1 July, Chabukiani has taken him under his wing.
With Fraizer Campbell already an experienced forward at Horsfall Stadium, Chabukiani has also snapped up Daryl Murphy, a hero over at Ipswich Town. The Irish international is no stranger to the Football League having spent his last six seasons playing in the Championship, predominantly for Ipswich, but just last season at Bristol City in the second tier. Between 2014 and 2016, the 35-year-old was the league's top scorer for two consecutive seasons with 26 goals in his first season and 27 the next. A lethal hitman that will only strengthen Chabukiani's attacking options.
Despite spending the most successful part of his career over at Avenue's dear rivals Bradford City, Billy Knott has switched City's claret and amber for Avenue's green and white. Making 130 appearances over a four-year period at Valley Parade earned the midfielder a fan favourite status at the club, with his energetic performances down the middle pleasing City's fans whenever he was on the team sheet. With a £550,000 move to Sheffield United last season, he did Knott have a good time for The Blades, making only one substitute appearance for the entire season.
Struggling to find his feet under new Bristol City manager Matthew Upson, Bobby Reid has joined Bradford PA on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract over at Ashton Gate. Not much can be said about Reid's Bristol career after the 2015/16 season, with no loan moves and a poor lack of appearances for his club giving us no real indication of the players current ability. This move seems to be a gamble for Chabukiani, although it seems that Reid will remain a squad player even over at Horsfall Stadium.

With the arrival of three new strikers, the fourth addition, Callum Saunders means that the youngster will ply his trade in Avenue's development squad until a first-team chance arises for the forward. Saunders arrives from a very reputable academy in Crewe Alexandra's, who have produced the likes of Nick Powell and Rob Hulse in recent years, his new boss will be hoping that his advanced youth coaching at Crewe will make him a star performer in the future.
After he linked up with Coventry from Arsenal's academy, Reice Charles-Cook has not had the best few seasons for the League One club, with the young keeper conceding nineteen in just thirteen matches for The Sky Blues. But Adam Chabukiani has put his trust in the keeper as his third choice, with Myles Wright and new capture Ben Foster leading the way for the number one spot at goalkeeper. He will also play alongside Callum Saunders in the development teams.
Since the beginning of his Chelsea professional career, Ola Aina has been on eight different loan spells in the past three seasons, in typical Chelsea style. He has never had chance to settle down in a first-team atmosphere for a very long time at his previous teams, and especially not at Stamford Bridge. But with his first permanent move away from Kensington, the pacey centre-back will be hoping Horsfall Stadium will be his big break under Chabukiani. He is said to be delighted to be linking up with Chabukiani in West Yorkshire.
In terms of departures, Bradford Park Avenue have lost a loyal servant of the club in Kasjusz Piwowarczyk. Despite his often mispronunciated name, Piwowarczyk quickly became a fans favourite at Horsfall Stadium since his arrival in Adam Chabukiani's first summer as manager of the club.
Racking up 156 appearances in all competitions over a three-year period made Piwowarczyk a first-team regular, and also helping the fans pronounce his name better with every game he played in. His departure to Polish team Lech Poznan for just under £200,000 means that only Jack Hallahan and Matthew Fletcher remain the existing players that were involved in Adam Chabukiani's first ever promotion as Avenue manager.
In terms of backroom staff arrivals, England's most-hated midfielder Joey Barton has replaced Alan Dunne as the club's Under-18 Manager, with Dunne leaving the club to become first-team manager of Eccleshall. The search for a new Under-21 manager still goes on as Michael Ratajczak also left his role to take up the position of Cammell Laird's first-team manager role.

Bradford Park Avenue chiefs have today announced this seasons official squad numbers list to the public.
Even this story pays some relevance to how far Bradford PA have come in their journey into the Football League, with Chabukiani having to do without selective squad numbers in his first ever season for the club.
However, back to today's news: New arrival Ben Foster has put one glove on in the race for the number one goalie spot, with the former Manchester United keeper wearing the number 1 shirt this season. Foster has taken the shirt away from last seasons owner Myles Wright, who will don the number 25 this season. Bradford's third choice goalkeeper, Reice Charles-Cook will also wear the number 45 jersey.
Star striker Matthew Fletcher seems to have bagged his spot in this seasons starting eleven as he wears the number 9 shirt. Within the first eleven numbers handed out, both number 7 and 10 have been left available for further use.
The first eleven numbers read like this: Ben Foster (GK), Caner Dumlupinar (RB), Anthony Breslin (LB), Stephen Arthurworrey (CB), Curtis Good (CB), Matty James (CM), Ben Blackmore (CM), Matthew Fletcher (ST) and Jack Hallahan (LW).
Ben Blackmore and Samir Nabi have both swapped numbers from last season as new signing Matty James looks to be playing alongside the Australian for the majority of this season.
The graphic produced by the club (pictured above) also gives an insight on the lack of players from last season playing this season. Only eleven players from last season have been given a number for this season, with Curtis Good taking Kasjusz Piwowarczyk's number 5 shirt for the new season.
Surprisingly, Aidan White has been handed the number 32 shirt, posing questions towards his involvement this year, with Chabukiani replying that the former Leeds full-back will be involved in some capacity this season.
Despite setting out to play in the reserves team this season, Callum Saunders has been given a surprisingly good number to speak for his role in the first-team as he bags the number 18 for the new season. It certainly asks questions when the likes of other development team members such as Lewis Bennett and Gage Tracey find themselves late on in the thirties.
But now fans can have peace at mind when purchasing names on the back of their new shirts with the squad numbers list being announced, with Matthew Fletcher always being a big hit on the sales.

Bradford Park Avenue have today pulled off an extraordinary stunt in signing up American striker Michael Lieblein on a free transfer.
Any fans wondering why the number 10 shirt was left vacant by Adam Chabukiani have all been answered today as the former DC United star joined the club on a three-year deal.
The 19-year-old has astounded the North American world recently with his incredible start to his career over in the U.S.A. Americans were overjoyed back in June as their new wonderkid scored five in one game for the U.S.A. Senior National Team against Liechtenstein.
Despite playing in all of America's World Cup Group Stage matches against France, Chile and Portugal, Lieblein failed to make his mark on that tournament. However, at such a young age with nine senior goals in eleven senior caps for his country? It has certainly caught the eye of many top clubs.
And his form certainly doesn't stop there.
In the 2016 MLS season, Lieblein scored 12 goals in 28 league appearances for his boyhood team DC United aged only 17 years old.
It didn't stop there either as he went even further the next season, with 21 goals in 27 appearances in the MLS aged only 18 years old. Last season he won the Supporters Player of the Year award at DC United, just before he was to be released from the club in the summer.
With some top European clubs snooping around the young striker, Adam Chabukiani has pulled off a masterstroke to get in before anyone else and bring Lieblein down to Horsfall Stadium until 2021.
'I'm absolutely delighted to be able to call Michael one of ours now. His record at international and club level over in America speak for itself when we're talking about this boys quality,' said his new boss, Chabukiani.
The new arrival will certainly give number 9 Matthew Fletcher a very good strike partner to take on League One with.
Great signing mate and once again some great updates and fantastic graphics! Can't wait to see where this season goes for you!
C.J.Lippo: I'm finding it hard to disagree with you on that!
mgriffin2012: Cheers mate, really hoping for another promotion this season, but time will tell
Griffo: Gotta say I'm with you on that front

It was another impressive preseason campaign for us as a new-look Bradford Park Avenue squad ran out in their new set of kits for the first time. We won three games throughout our unbeaten run in the friendlies we played, mostly against higher ranked teams than ourselves. Our most notable victory was the 7-0 win away from home at Gateshead. We played our first ever overseas team at Horsfall Stadium as Czech side Slavia Praha flew all the way to Yorkshire for a 2-2 draw.

Matthew Fletcher has begun his 2018/19 season in standard form, with the hitman netting four goals in the 7-0 victory against Gateshead in our second fixture. The Australian appeared in all our games this month alongside several strike partners. The forward looks all set for another excellent season under Chabukiani.
Very good pre-season mate, hopefully it keeps morale high going into the League One season!
