Good Pre-season mate, keep it up!!
Good luck this season!
Great pre-season there, what a win against Gateshead! :D

Adam Chabukiani's energetic Bradford Park Avenue side have sent their message out to the rest of League One with an excellent start to their campaign.

With Adrian Mariappa the new captain of the club, followed up by vice-captain Ben Blackmore, it is proving to be a recipe for success at the moment for the Georgian's side.

New star signing Michael Lieblein has commented on the 'feel good' atmosphere that Chabukiani has created around the club, despite the American international only being under contract for a few weeks.

Lieblein spoke to Bradford Telegraph & Argus: The boss seems to have hit on a common denominator at the club. We are all linking up together as a unit and in my footballing career, I have never been involved in anything so professional, yet enjoyable. It's an incredible atmosphere around the club at the moment.'

And looking at the recent results corresponding with Lieblein's comments, you can definitely see where the 6'2" forward is coming from.

With Jack Hallahan leading a late winning goal against Shrewsbury Town which salvaged Bradford PA three points on the first day of the new season, it's all been carrying on upwards since then on.

Avenue buried Yorkshire rivals Leeds United in the first round of the Capital One Cup at Horsfall Stadium. With the scores level after 90 minutes of play, Chabukiani's men went on a half-hour rampage in extra-time, bagging three goals to make it 5-2 as the referee blew the final whistle. Bradford PA will face Premier League strugglers West Brom in the second round of the competition.

Michael Lieblein opened his account against Walsall at The Bescot Stadium, with the American star chesting in a goal in the 37th minute to score Bradford's third and final goal of the game.

But it wasn't until the 4-0 thrashing of fellow Yorkshire side Rotherham United until Bradford Park Avenue acquired the top spot in the League One league table just three games into the campaign. Again, Michael Lieblein was on the scoresheet in the first minute of the match with a great near-post finish.

It really was a special day for Avenue fans as Ben Blackmore went on to score only his third goal of his career with a tidy top corner finish. Jordan Graham was also on the scoresheet, with Rotherham's Michael Cain making matters worse for his team with an own goal in the 43rd minute.
Been awhile since I posted to you, Jack, but keeping up a long save with lots of writing is a very hard thing to do. Well done.
Brilliant win over Leeds in there mate! Fantastic update again!
So last night I couldn't sleep so I reread this and OMG this is a great story man. The one thng though, as a non-Brit Bradford Park Avenue sounds like a tv show or a bands name.
Jack........

Your graphics are awesome :O
Amazing update as per :)
tenthreeleader: Good to have you back man! It can be quite a strain on time sometimes, but I like doing it so if anything it's enjoyable :D

mgriffin2012: I was fairly gutted as a Leeds fan, but who cares? I'm all BPA now :P

MJK46: Love that you took the time to read it all again! And on the whole TV show or band name, could be something you see in the story later on I suppose ;)

SooruSooru: Thanks man :D

ScottT: Cheers mate :)

It's been quite an impressive start to life in the third tier, with three league wins on the bounce against some very decent teams in the first four games. Despite being all over Oxford United throughout the entire 90 minutes, the penalty conceded by our left-back Aidan White was the decisive moment as it costed us all four points as we settled for 2nd place at the end of the first month.

In terms of cup performance, we were knocked out by West Brom in our final match of the month after giving Leeds an extra-time thrashing in the first round. We took the lead, but it turned out that The Baggies ultimately had all the quality needed to go through to the next round.

Finally, club legend Samir Nabi has sadly left the club for another shot at League Two with Crewe Alexandra. The relegated club snapped up our midfielder for £85,000 after he was deemed surplus to requirements due to the arrival of Matty James. Becoming an integral part of the promotion pushes in the National Conference and League Two, Nabi has built up a legendary status which will be held permanently in the fans' hearts, as is the case with Matthew Fletcher who looks far from an exit at the moment.

Running into September, we are in a very healthy position near the top of the table, with Bury leading the way with an unbeaten August to their name. Obviously we shouldn't make any predictions about any teams at this current stage of the season, but Bury just don't seem like the team to be up there come the end of the season, and we are with our new squad.

Next month we begin our Johnstone's Paint Trophy campaign live on television against Hartlepool United. Many of our games this month have had to be postponed in advance due to international duties including players like Michael Lieblein, Matthew Fletcher and Ben Blackmore jetting off to link up with their countries.

McEvoy is our first Player of the Month for the competitive season. The young winger has excelled on the left wing so far and has gone unchallenged in his position as a consequence of such a bright start. McEvoy definitely knows his way down a wing and looks very comfortable on the ball, not to mention a beautiful cross on him which has bagged him the majority of four assists so far this season.

Mind blowing start to the season!

So what is next for Adam??
What a fantastic start, on your way to the Premier League ;)
