Probably the best story you'll read all day, okay, maybe not, but you know, have a nose.

@Jack - I agree, his work is absolutely second to none, has really improved the look of my story

@BeanyUnited - Yeah, I'm bricking some of them, hope we do well thought, bet we'll slip up against Plymouth
A solid point against Deportivo to kick start your CL campaign mate, plenty to build on!

Big Month

A few big games coming up in this month, namely 2 Champions League games, and also, some grudge matches verse some of the biggest clubs in England. Of course, are lads are more than enough to match any team, but the question is whether they'll turn up on the day.

That went rather well...

We dominated this game a lot more than the score board suggests to honest, Sc Cambuur aren't all that good to be honest, so 1-0 wasn't the greatest result, but a wins a win, and hopefully the group won't come down to goal difference.

Vintage display from the lads as we stomped Sheffield United! I talked previously about the danger in Koppel but our left winger ran out winner in that battle, as Masawudu bagged twice, I have a great tactic going now, the Ghanian sweeping in on the left wing to finish the crosses from both the right winger and right back. Krasniqi was also a huge threat, and was very dangerous with both his passing and finishing.

Another Premier League game against another top team, another win, another goal for Masawudu and great performance by Krasniqi. Otsuki also bagged, he seems to have found that thrilling form he had last season.

Lawson has to be the talking point of this game, getting another PoM, trying his damnedest to push Zoundi out the team. It's not like Zoundi has been bad, he's just being outplayed. A decent win for us in the Champions League though, putting us right up there in the group.

I'd hyped this one up, and it turned out to be the spectacle we were promised. Ofcourse, ex- Mighty Duck Diallo scored against us, but another veteran popped up for us to spoil his party, thank you Ibrahim. We had more shots and possession, and arguably deserved a win, but a point will do in such a grudge match.

I forgot to put it in the graphic in this one, but Ruiz was sent off late into this one making it a nervy affair. However, we dominated previous to that, even the final stats came out 6 shots to our 22, showing our dominance, but finishing was poor, was wandering what happened to our prolific Otsuki all game.

I f*****d up

I made a bit of a cock up on my end with this one, I saved the screenshots of PoTM, FoTL, the league table and the champions league group, however, they were deleted in a computer related incident. So unfortunately I don't have screenshots of the league table at the end of this point and therefore don't want to spoil future results. However, I know we were 2nd, 2 points behind Spurs in the league, and 1st in our Champions League group.

My apologies on that one.

Player of the Month

It really came down to Masawudu or Krasniqi for this months, both have been prolific, but I have to give it to our big 44 Million Pound man Masawudu, he's really made this role his own after Diallo struggled to fit it last year, so I think he deserves to win, particularly when you look at the amount of goals he's scored. Also, the stats are a few days down the line from the fixtures named.

Flop of The Lot

Unfortunately, our captain didn't have the best of months for us, despite the team doing relatively well. He's of course a great player on most days but this month, hasn't been his best, getting sent off against West Ham wasn't his best moment. He also didn't have the greatest performance against Plymouth.

Coming up...

I've played a few games already and like I said, lost the pictures I had before this, so you can't see the competitions the games are in but I'm sure you can work them out.

Thanks for reading guys, all comments will be reciprocated,

Tah, Alex
Is the Seedorf of Sheffield United any relation to the great Clarence?
Another good month for the champions there mate! :D
Justice - Feel free to check for yourself

I have returned

Hi guys, this is just a really simple update just to let you know I'm back in action, after a long exam period and a brief rest I'm back to continue in the Summer of 69. Hope everyone is well.

Thanks,

Alex

A sweet return

What better song to introduce our grand return than back in black. The MIGHTY DUCK's have returned, and with a bang at that! The lads have strung some great results together, setting us up very nicely.

One hun'ed

What a way to begin, smashing a mid-table Manchester United to a pulp, Otsuki had a stormer, and even Zoggers scored and played well, where's the old Wycombe team gone? A fantastic game, bit disappointing not to keep a clean sheet, but otherwise, a big message sent out.

As usual consistent Krasniqi did the business for us against Celtic, fielding a weaker more rotated team, even utilising Daouda at right back we managed to sneak a 2-0 win without too much trouble. However, a little disappointed Ibrahim didn't capitalise on his chance to start.

Winger, winger, chicken dinner, our wide lads took home the spoils from the Preston game as Lawson continued his unprecedented run pushing Zoundi out the squad. Meanwhile, Masawudu keeps showing us how he's hit the ground running, bagging goal after goal.

It's those two men again as we beat Liverpool convincingly, Lawson and Masawudu grabbing a goal each to dispatch of Liverpool who are pushing for Europe at the moment. Credit has to go to Griffin who commanded the defence for us and made sure we didn't concede against a strong attack.

Masawudu went awol in this game against his former team, so our Albanian Krasniqi stepped up and bagged two, whilst Otsuki got himself another too. This game secured our first place qualification from our group, great stuff.

He's back again! Masawudu returns in the best way possible after he disappeared in the Deportivo game, scoring a hat-trick and helping us dominate over Palace. A lovely team display, with our 3 attacking midfielders getting 9.0 ratings and above.

Out in front

Our cracking 100% November has allowed us to take a 4 point lead over Spurs and really send a message that we're to take the league by storm this year. We have been playing fantastically, but it has to continue to win as much as we can, great start though.

The same story goes for the Champions League, we're out in front, and qualified in first. This allows us a rest in our final game, a much needed one at that.

Player of the Month

We can talk about Masawudu all day, but this months award has to go to another man, not out of pity, out of consistency, Krasniqi has been crucial this month, if not scoring a few here and there, then setting up or generally aiding the team in their efforts. When Krasniqi plays well, we win, simples.

Flop of the Lot

My doubts continue to grow about the quality of Daouda, he has limitless potential but week in week out I struggle to see how he might meet it, as his poor performances have allowed Slater another chance to start. Not good enough from our man from Niger.

December run in

The much loved December fixture congestion is upon us, a huge amount of games to be played before the new year comes. Fortunately our stella Champions League performance allows us a rest against SC Cambuur, but other than that, December may be do or die.

I leave you with this beautiful image of Otsuki's beautiful new haircut, a side to behold if I'm honest.

It's great to be back, thanks for reading, all comments will be reciprocated,

Thanks, Alex
Quite a good start to the season then :P
Still going strong mate, looking good for the title again :P
Never has a team been more deserving to be top of the league! Well in mate
ninjaskill: All in all not bad ;) going well for defending the league

mgriffin2012: Indeed, Spurs are sneaky buggers though

BeanyUnited: Idk we're not quite Arsenal Invincibles, maybe one day though ;)

All over the shop

With December came a topsy-turvy set of results and a new but most importantly, league position remained, battling away to achieve supremacy over our premier League rivals as well as officially progressing to the next round of the Champions League among other competitions. All in all, an interesting month as December always is, with players feeling the festive spirit and I expect those from tropical regions feeling the cold too.

Christmas Time!

A solid beginning to the month as we dismantled Stevenage in the League Cup, putting us through to the semi finals of this most prestigious contest. A slightly rotated side was selected, and Ibrahim and Zoundi showed form of old, Ibrahim banging 2 in, whilst Zoundi made all 3 goals.

There was slight squeaking of bums in this game as 'Eel' Paling made things uncomfortable for us later on in it. Though, we did dominate, though Otsuki scored, he was relatively poor up top, and Ibrahim got another chance. Meanwhile, Masawudu scored again, to keep his run going.

We finished with a bang as a heavily rotated side smashed SC Cambuur convincingly, scoring 4 before half time and relaxing as the game drew to a close. Sainrimat started and scored which was a rare sight to behold, he's unfortunate to be behind 2 very decent strikers, may be loaned. Masawudu added another 2 to his season tally as well, claiming man of the match.

A lovely outing for Otsuki against Fulham in a fairly routine win in the Premier League, thoroughly trouncing our London opposition. Masawudu is beginning to remind me of Mahrez or Hazard, does very little, until he does something very good. Ruiz threw a spanner with a late unnecessary red card, not great from the captain.

Let down, we tried a slightly different team, as Krasniqi missed the game with injury and it showed, statistically the game was fairly even but Stevenage were far more clinical than us. Unfortunate game to lose, but these things happen even to title winners. Older readers may recognise the man of the match, Casalino who joined us on loan in the first season.

Post Christmas resurgence, it's good to know the lads had a good Christmas as shown by our ability to bounce back and beat Hull. Krasniqi marked his return with a goal and a generally good performance, whilst Masawudu took man of the match again with 2 efforts, lovely stuff.

A defensive and offensive masterclass from our Irish summer signing Griffin who played beautifully in defence as well as scoring from a corner too, creating a man of the match display. West Ham netted late to make it nervous, but nothing we couldn't handle.

A tale of 2 stars in this upper tale clash, ultimately Dosso and Krasniqi cancelled each other out, but our man took home man of the match as a leading light in our squad. Ibrahim and Otsuki both had run outs to try and grab a winner, but they both seemed to have their mind on the New Years party, I mean, you'd imagine the MIGHTY DUCK's throw a pretty wild one.

Just enough

Spurs now with a game in hand, could get up to as close as 2 points away from us which is rather scary, but we definitely have the quality to pull through. With fixture congestion as bad as this it's understandable to drop points here and there, as long as we don't lose too many, nonetheless though, happy to still be top.

Player of the Month

Defensively excellent and the king of consistency of recent weeks in a time of chaos in the Premier League, Patrick Griffin has had an impressive start to his Wycombe career, and I hope it continues like this for years to come. The Irish man has been showing up the veteran defenders of the side recently.

Flop of the Lot

Sadly times have tested our young left back Dave Kimbell who to be fair, barely gets a rest in this side, but he's looked to have come unstuck at times in this Wycombe side. He may also get less help than his right sided company, due to Masawudu being an Inside Forward, but he didn't look bad before December, maybe fatigue got the better of him.

Our golden boy

On a very happy note, our Steve Lawson won the European Golden Boy award, a huge achievement for the lad who's scored 12 and set 22 up in 45 games. Not bad at all for a kid.

January is just as hard

The games keep coming thick and fast through to the new year of 2172, some tricky ones including a top of the table clash against Spurs, oh it's going to get exciting! Also, the Champions League knockouts have been drawn, and we've been given Tenerife meaning Francheschi will get a Wycombe return.

Thanks for reading, all comments will be reciprocated,

Alex
