Once again the urge for success with my beloved Bloods have brought me back to Manchester. I'll begin with a confession, to prevent me from having to play 50+ seasons from now I'll use FMRTE to decay the stadium a bit to help force the borad into building a new one (we're already at expansion-limit)
Sometimes I wonder if I'm just now allowed to win...
FMRTE! Come back from the dark side!
I know it disapoints many of you, but all I did was changing the construction-date of Droylsden Stadium, I had to choose between this or not feeling the same urge!
The work with youngsters has for the first time translated into points! This becomes even more impressive when considering the opposition, Manchester United. Though I confess, I played him by mistake (I hit 'space' one time to many), King turned out to be the diffrence, outshining even the little italian prick!
I've had numerous players called up from the U18-team due to injuries. Some of them have delivered some impressive games but none of them are going to be consistant quality-preformers on this level, with a possible exception being a goalkeeper with 2,5star PA-rating. So I'm still far off my goal but I guess this shows some progress is being made.
Looking at his stats I realized that he isn't that terrible if you look passed his lack of composure, I'd say top Leauge One/not great Championship player, what do you recon?
The 'Team of the Year' 2028 showed that we are still progressing at Droylsden Stadium as the number of droylsdenplayers featured in the team doubled! Okey, doubeling is just a way to make it sound as an even bigger achivement as we went from one to two. Silguero defended his spot in the defence and Beto clamied the same spot he's been given in my new tac as a ledgendary trequarista! (Btw I've never seen the 'Team of the Year' use this tac, maby it's because I'm using it as well ;))
They should just name the trophy after me ...

One of those "whoops I slipped," moments?
Nice one with the League Cup.
naahh, more of a 'I realy want to do this but I have a life as well so can't play every minute of it'-moments
It's been a rocky season with many negative upsets and points going down the drain for nothing. In not one, but two ocasions, we were 10 points away from first place. But we pulled ourselves togather and are enyoing a great spring-run.
We finished just one point ahead of secondplaced Arsenal but the leauge-race was closed before the last game-day as we had a 3-point gap and ~20 GD advantage going into our last fixture.
Next stands the FA-cup final against Arsenal and then the CL-final against Barcelona!
And the show rolls on
Even though Arsenal scored right off the start without us even touching the ball we were the better side and it showed when the final witsle was blown
Boy am I glad I decided to return! For the first time ever we've pulled off a REAL tripple! We're no strangers to winning these competitions, but winning them all at once is probably the biggest achivement possible (even if you can step things up by going unbeaten and so on).
The last pice of our tripple-puzzel didn't just fall in to place on it's own though, in fact we were more or less outplayed for the majority of the first half. During the break I just told the guys to calm down and belive in the way we've been doing things these last couple of months. Some of my top-players had vastly underachived but I decided to let them stay on and show their worth!
The second half became a totaly diffrent story. We had dominated possesion without creating anything in the first half but this quickly changed in the second half as the chanses started to come. Fittingly enough it was the seasons MVP, Beto, who got the first and ultimatly last goal of the game, assisted by Arikan (the two players who had the lowest ratings at half-time but got a shot at redemption). The deal was more or less sealed when Barcelonas star-striker drew a red card only minutes later.
One thing I do find amusing is that the rest of the world still hasn't realized our gratness!
The planning of the new stadium will be finished in a couple of days, can't wait!!!
All the pieces seem to be falling in to place!
now I'm rally f***m' pissed. The computer crashed and I can't load my saved-game! This puts me right back to when I decided to leave... this is bullshit!
awesome team, also great results!
