Our Champions' League dream run is over as we crashed out on the back of a 5-1 Barcelona thrashing. Carlos Fierro's 20th goal of the season was my only consolation. Despite the heavy loss there are positives and I'm delighted I was able to make it this far in my maiden Champions' League campaign.

On a positive note, my Liverpool U18s team have won the U18 English league.

Also, Wigan are confirmed to be relegated next season as they are rock bottom at 20th in the league. Roberto Martinez is sacked and replaced by Terry Connor, who was fired by Wolves.

Manchester United are confirmed as Premier League winners this season and they win the title a record 20th time... let's hope it's their last.

In foreign news, Inter Milan have clinched the Serie A title.

Barcelona have retained the La Liga title. Juventus manager Antonio Conte is sacked. Also, everyone's favorite manager, and the man who took Martin Skrtel from Liverpool, Andre Villas-Boas, is sacked by Wolfsburg.

In other news I have beat Stoke 2-1 but results don't really matter now as we are confirmed to finish in 3rd position for a second consecutive time.

You might need to get a few defenders in though, in my opinion, thats your only worry.

Yes, they did win the league title! If you are referring to the Champions' League final the match has not started yet.

Thanks a whole bunch for your comments! I'm very contented with my defenders now as I have Glen Johnson and Martin Montoya at right back; Martin Kelly, Sebastian Coates, Jamie Carra, D Agger, Danny Wilson at center back; Jose Enrique at left back, and Jack Robinson will replace Fabio Aurelio as second choice left back next season when Aurelio leaves on a free. :)

Instead of pushing for a new contract at Liverpool or leaving on a free transfer, Fabio Aurelio has announced he will be RETIRING at Liverpool and competitive football on 30th June 2013.

Barcelona, who beat us 6-2 on aggregate in the semi-finals, have gone on to win the Champions' League at the expense of Manchester City, beating them 3-0.

Liverpool sign wonderkids
German keeper Joe Osei, Brazilian defensive midfielder Mario, and Turkish striker Caglar Dogan joined Liverpool today after all agreed to transfer from Stuttgart, Gremio, and Mainz respectively nearing the end of last season. Osei and Caglar Dogan are both 15 while Mario is 18. "I'm delighted I was able to get these talented youngsters to join the club. They'll be a big part of Liverpool's future and will build on our recent U18 success."

Carlos Fierro has officially joined Liverpool permanently.

Brazilian wonderkids Buru and Macao, as well as Mexican upcoming star Jose Angel Rodriguez will join us at the start of NEXT season, which is in 2014. I'm currently in 2013. Argentine Jorge Schmidt will join us in 2015.
