Morris: "Pato will get another chance."

Boreham Wood's manager Joshua Morris has promised today to let Alexandre Pato another chance at Wood.
"He is a fantastic player and I ruled him out to quickly. I will register him again in the next window and he will get his chances. He is still in my plans."

(This update is dedicated to Alexandre Pato. A player I love so much but though to stupid injuries he had to move from A.C. Milan to Corinthians. I wish you the very best, and come home soon! <3 )

As always, read, enjoy, comment and SMILE LIKE YOU MEAN IT~

Making it real.

Guys, I have some awesome news (Real life). Couple of days ago I wrote an email to the staff of Boreham Wood F.C. telling them about this story and the amazing journey I had with this fantastic team. I am glad to write here the reply of Matthew Hunter, the Facility Manager at Meadow Park.

Dear Or

Thank you for your email and your interest in the club.

Working for the club I did the exact same thing and got us to the Premiership on FM 2011 a couple of years ago!! Took me 16 seasons... and a couple more to establish us in the Prem. I eventually got us into the Europa League (I gave up after that as all my players wanted to play for bigger clubs).

I would recommend getting quality scouts and looking to pick up players on free transfers when being released from professional clubs and also loan signings, as money was tight and the board never had money to improve the stadium, facilities or youth academy!! I don't think the club turned a profit a single year until we was in the premiership!!

Anyway good luck and let me know your progress!!!

Kind Regards
Matthew Hunter.

I was very happy with this email and I sent Matthew a reply, asking him if he could get Omer Riza, who was my top goalscorer two seasons in a row, to read this story. Hopefully he will.

The end.

After the Wood have continued impressing with good performances, getting 9 wins out of 10 games,

The league table looked this way:

Joshua Morris, the highly rated manager has called a press conference.

Morris: "I am leaving."

"I am resigning from my role as Boreham Wood F.C. and England's manager." said the Englishman.

"I.. I really can't express how I feel. This club have been my home since 2012. I was just a guy thinking he can become a manager, when you took me in.

I tried my best and had some fantastic achievements. The fans are calling me a legend, but in truth it was the help of Rhys Taylor, Omer Riza, Olly Taylor, David Cubillas, Alessandro Cesarini and Francesco Lovric and any player that wore the white kits, that I am here today.

I would like to thank to everyone here about the amazing opportunity I have been given. These six years were the best at my life but I feel like now is the time for me to go.

Thank you all. I promise that we will meet once more. Goodbye.

Hi guys.

I want to say, this thing I had with Wood was amazing. But more than that, was your support.
You guys are a fantastic community. You kept me going forward when I wanted to just rage out and quit.

Your help was really amazing, but I feel like now it's the time to end this story as I am recruiting to the army soon (Jan-29) and I don't have the time to continue this journey of mine.

I will post a link here for my save, in case someone will want to try out the job or maybe even continue this story.

I had some amazing moments here in this story, and I even managed to win December's story of the month with 30+ votes.

Again, thank you all. It has been amazing.
