AC Milan: Italy's Greatest Team

I know AC Milan might not be having the best of times of it over the last couple of years, thanks to the recent brilliance of Juventus, but I truly believe they are the greatest club to have graced Italian football ever, and no matter how they do no-one can take that away from them and their fans.

If you look at the players they've had in the past, like Van Basten, Maldini, Shevchenko, Pirlo, Gullit, Seedorf, and Inzaghi, you wouldn't think of a way they can top their previous successes. But you'd be wrong. Ok, they aren't winning the treble every season at the moment, but look at some of the young players they have now. Stephan El Shaarawy, Mattia De Sciglio, M'Baye Niang are among lots of others. Those three in themselves can become world-class players and lead Milan back to glory. Then you look in the youth squad and see young players like Hachim Mastour and just think that the future couldn't be brighter.

It's not just a squad that's going to get them back to lofty heights. It's the fans as well, and Milan have got absolutely brilliant ones. They are some of the passionate ever, and would go over land and sea to see the I Rossoneri play. If they follow as passionately as they do, and urge the team to fight for the win in every game, their support will pay off, and success will come back to the red-and-black half of the San Siro, one cup at a time.

Here is an AC Milan video by one of the greatest people to have ever graced fmscout.com, Or Dabool:

Monthly Review

After a good start to the season, we faced a tougher month, containing games against Porto and Juventus, although the other games were textbook wins. In the two big games, I couldn’t have wished for better results. Anything apart from a loss away to Porto is great, and to beat Juventus by three goals is the stuff of dreams. I might be getting slightly ahead of myself, but I can see another treble, and with a lot of luck, the UEFA Champions League.

League Table

We already sit two points clear of second-placed Benfica, who we play at home in September. As it stands we are champions again.
very nice start of your season
grabbing a win vs JUVE and Porto
must have boosted the morale

Don't need to, pretty much the entire squad has been on Superb since January! :D
Nice run of results :)

Btw, I fixed a grammatical mistake in your post :P

Matthaus: “That’s Why We’re Champions”

Sporting CP has hailed his team as “heroes” following a month of September in which Sporting beat Italian giants Juventus and then rivals Porto away. They scored 5 goals in these games, and shocked Juventus 3-0.

Speaking in a press conference to introduce new signing Darwin Machis, Matthaus was asked what he thought of Sporting’s performances in the last month, the German manager replied “obviously I’m delighted with how we’ve played in the last few games this season. Winning any game is good, but to beat Juventus and Porto in the way we did is fantastic, and the lads should be really proud of themselves. It’s the stuff of champions really. Beating Juve by three goals despite having less possession and shots. Beating Porto with a relatively late goal. Some people might say it’s luck, but it’s not. It’s that ability to grind out results whatever the performance.”

Sporting face more tough games in October, facing both Galatasary in Turkey, and city rivals Benfica at the Estadio Jose Avalade. Matthaus, however, will be confident his team can pull through and continue their fantastic run.
Great update m8 :)
