And is it me, or is that picture of Lothar Matthaus in the press conference always being reused? :P
Now you see how lazy I am :P

Would you rather I spend looking for pictures than writing? :P

ChrisBorg:
Great "novel" so far !!!
Thanks Chris, means a lot coming from someone who's FM12 story was so good :)

Thats another picture you can use, but interestingly, when I searched for Matthaus, 2 pictures came up that were Sporting Lisbon pictures and they only came up because of this story.

This one, and another one I can't be bothered to look for.
Apoligies for the lack of updates in the last couple of days guys :/ really caught up in my Ireland story at the moment, which you can read here: Robbie Keane - Back In Green

Matthaus: We Can Triumph

AC Milan manager Lothar Matthaus has empowered his team to push on by claiming Milan will beat city rivals Inter Milan in the game at the San Siro in just under two weeks.

When asked about the derby in a press conference ahead of his side’s trip to London to face Tottenham, Matthaus said “well, you’re never really sure what’ll happen in a game of this magnitude, but I’m confident we can pull it off, and get the win. We’re classed as the away team, but that doesn’t mean nothing when we both play on the same ground. They’re in second, we’re in fourth, but we are on a charge up the table. We’re on better form, and in the middle of some tough games. I see no reason why we won’t win when we play them. I want us to finish above
them too, however it might not be easy, what with them being 7 points clear.

Matthaus’ side are on their best form of the season, having won every game since Matthaus arrived at the club. They’ve managed to carry on that form into their ‘run of death’, but many are predicting Matthaus to be on the receiving end of his first loss as a manager at some point in this run of games.
Kick Inter's ass 8-0! for me :P

Great results, especially Juve, but Tottenham could also have been tricky.
Incredible results mate! Keep up the good work :D

Yeah, I was dreading these three matches the most, but we've come through unscathed.

Thanks Jason! I've thankfully got only two games of the run of death left, so happy days. Unfortunately, the two sides we have to face are the sides directly above us lol :/ they'll decide whether we get Champions League or not.
Good result against Juve
