Bayern Munich's storming of the Bundesliga has failed to cease, with 14 wins in 14 games. They failed to get revenge against Sampdoria for their 5-0 romp, only drawing 2-2 with them in their second group game with the Italians. However, ultimately, Bayern qualified for the Knockout Rounds, finishing 2nd in their group, and will cast their gaze towards Old Trafford - where the Champions League Final will be held this year.

FC Bayern Munich Player of the Month

England and Bayern Munich manager David Beckham was in attendance at the group draws for Euro 2020, held in Turkey, who will also host the Euros when it begins in June.

Despite a crucial match against Borussia Dortmund two days later, Beckham has shown up in Turkey, deciding to see live which nations his Three Lions will be going up against.

England were drawn in Group D, with Holland, Austria and Montenegro.


It will be a relatively easy group for England.

Holland, formerly regarded as one of the best nations world football-wise, have turned into a shadow of their former self. With players like Arjen Robben and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar gone from the national fold for years, the Oranje have not been much of a threat to rivaling European national teams.

Boasting players from top quality European sides like Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain, Austria will head into Euro 2020, knowing they don't stand much of a chance against the rest of Europe's giants. However, they can be dangerous on their day. With David Alaba leading his nation, the versatile left-back considered one of the world's best, Austria will be one team to look out for.

A mixture of luck and Stevan Jovetic threw Montenegro into qualification for Euro 2020. The nation, ranked 40th in the FIFA World Rankings, will face a tough test against England but captain Jovetic, whom also leads Chelsea in the Premier League, will assure that Montenegro don't go down without a fight.

It will be an interesting tournament indeed.

England have chosen their training camp for Euro 2020, reaching an agreement with Süper Lig club Bucaspor to use their stadium and training facilities throughout their time in Turkey.

It has also been announced that the Three Lions will play three pre-tournament friendlies against Switzerland, Sudan and Ireland.

Bucaspor's stadium, the Yeni Buca Stadi, or in simpler terms - the Buca Arena, will be used for training by the England players while they compete in the Euros in Turkey.

"We are very pleased to have reached this agreement with Bucaspor," said Jon Craig, chairman of the Football Association. "The Buca Arena is a stadium with fantastic training facilities and I am sure the England players will be very well-prepared for the tournament with this granted use of the stadium."


Captain Wayne Rooney has expressed his delight at being able to appear in another major tournament for England.

The 34-year-old England captain has only made 2 Premier League appearances this season for Manchester United with his declining age, but it is understood that this will not dissuade David Beckham from calling up the forward for his fourth Euro tournament.

Rooney has been part of four World Cup squads, and three European Championship squads, a massive achievement.

"I can't wait for the Euros," said Rooney. "It is going to be my fourth appearance at the Euros, and it'll be good seeing how the younger lads will do.

"I know I'm not featuring much for United as I would like but the boss has told me that he will pick me for this tournament regardless of whether I play well this season or not.

"After this tournament, I think I can finally sit back and hand the reins over to the younger lads."
