Loan Flop

Ayila Yussuf and Aston Villa have come to a mutual agreement to have the Nigerian's loan at the club terminated.

Yussuf was believed to have asked to terminate the loan, citing lack of promised first-team playing time as a reason. The international only made 4 league appearances for Villa in 4 months.

"Ayila (Yussuf) was very professional while he was here and a pleasure to work with," said David Beckham, when asked about the terminated loan. "Unfortunately, things didn't quite work out for us and him."
Bent is on absolute fire!
Got sacked in November so I don't think this story is going to continue :/
NO GLENN!!! Get a new job! Please?! :(
Glenn, get a new job please. This has been a joy and pleasure to read. Could you continue it?!!
Keep this story going and go job hunting! Villa are not the easiest team to manage so maybe Mr. Beckham is still to find his mojo :)
Enjoyed flicking through previous posts. Yussuf was definitely an inconsistent player for me even as a loan option, I terminated his loan early too!
Did the sacred thing of not saving and reloading up the game. Becks is back

EDIT: Although the job security is still 'precarious' :/

November: Sinking

Aston Villa are sinking quickly. The month has been poor for the Villans and pundits are already speculating if they keep up the current form, relegation is a certainty. Darren Bent has been absolutely terrible this month, as has every single one of Villa's strikers, and the Villans find themselves in the relegation zone.

Things aren't going so well but it is great to see you haven't given up yet and sticking at it! Go for it Glenn!

Thank you :D
Some hard results in the start of the season.
I'm sure you will improve and going for something good even his year.
Good luck ;)

Beckham's Rally

Aston Villa manager David Beckham has called for his players to make amendments for their current bad run of form by pushing themselves for the final 21 games of the season.

Beckham is in a precarious position, with his Aston Villa side still looking for a win after 8 Premier League matches. Their last win dates back to 27th October against Reading, approximately 2 months ago.

"We will not be relegated," Beckham confidently proclaims. "We will keep fighting. There is still 21 games left until the end of the season. We will be pushing ourselves for three points every game and I'm confident that we'll see light at the end.

"The players just need to believe in themselves and give it their all."

Agbonlahor's Plea

Aston Villa forward Gabby Agbonlahor has called for fans and the board to back manager David Beckham.

The 37-year-old former Manchester United player is in a precarious position at Aston Villa with his side failing to find a win in 8 Premier League games.

"I feel that it was the board's decision to appoint David after all," said Agbonlahor in an interview. "This, despite knowing David had no previous managerial experience. They should have been prepared to give him a chance and overlook any errors he makes in the first season. He has already said he will steer us from relegation and I'm confident that he'll do that."

The Englishman also called for fans to back his manager.

"Fans should be backing David and not telling him to get out. He has done a lot and honestly it is not much of the manager's fault we are not playing well.

"At this time, the club needs the fans' one hundred percent support."
Good to see you stuck with this Glenn! Good luck for the rest of the season!
