February: Record

Bayern Munich's 100 percent win record in the Bundesliga this season is over, with Schalke and Koln forcing them into draws. However, this won't harm Bayern's league campaign too much, as they are 19 points clear at the top of the league.

FC Bayern Munich Player of the Month

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been excellent this month for Bayern Munich, scoring 5 goals in 6 appearances. He was influential in the win against Atletico Madrid, and will presumably also be as crucial to Bayern Munich for the second leg.

Player Worthy of a Mention

Abdoulaye Sylla, like Chamberlain, has played in every single league game this season and has been fantastic. The Ivorian midfielder was a rotation player last season but has really proved his worth this year. Despite the mega-money signing of Thiago Alcantara, Sylla has continued to improve and has risen to being David Beckham's first-choice partner of captain Toni Kroos in central midfield. This month, Sylla put in some great performances again.

Sucks losing that 100% record & drawing twice in one month after all of that but really that's all you can complain about. Bayern are storming it!

I love this story!

It's probably one of, if not THE best story on the entire site. I read this pretty much every day when I'm bored at work and it's given me inspiration for my own story!

Keep up the good work and I'll keep on checking your progress!

Return of an Opportunity

Bayern Munich have confirmed that first-team goalkeeper Manuel Neuer will not be available for 4 weeks due to a sports hernia.

This will come as a blow to David Beckham's men, with Neuer having been influential in Die Bayern's season, which has been successful so far with the Bavarians not yet recording a loss in 25 Bundesliga fixtures.

Neuer, 33, has really upped his game this season, after being handed the role of vice-captain with the departure of Bastian Schweinsteiger.

However, what is more pressing is that Seyhmus Seckin is the only fit goalkeeper left at the Allianz Arena.

Beckham once stated that Seckin would "never play for the club again" after the Bayern academy graduate conceded 5 goals against Sampdoria in the Champions League. But he will now be forced to pick the Turkish goalie in goal for the next 4 weeks, as well as praying Seckin does not get himself injured - with no fit first-team goalkeeper left at the club.

It will be the return of an opportunity for Seckin to redeem himself and convince Beckham he still has a future left at Munich.
