That is a lot for Leon Goretzka. I paid £4.4 million for him at the end of the first season. Bochum must have set a record for a transfer received from a 2 Fußball-Bundesliga club.

Think it also had to do the 1st season was during beta couldn't get him on a low price, also he has a pa of 180
the last save i started just to test, i got him for 5M but his pa was only 161 this time

End of the season!

So the season has ended, but the last 2 games of the competition where blasphemies, what a bloody disgrace to end the season like that.
I mean ok we became Champions again but then to play like old grannies, and not give the fans an entertaining match against Cardiff, and failing to keep a 3-1 lead against Norwich. I hope the players will show me something else next season when it’s coming to an end.

The CL was also almost over 1st a draw against Arsenal (who we had to play 3 games in a row) but winning the 2nd game. And then we had to play against Lyon who we defeated easily at Old Trafford, but then gave us the same pounding in the Stade de Gerland as we gave them at Old Trafford. We eventually managed to win with 4-5 in penalties thanks to Niang who kept his cool at the as he took the last penalty

The win against City was a lucky one due to two well-timed breaks we scored on the counter to win 2-0. Again Niang who played marvelous and Isco who gave the 2 assists.

So now that we are at the end of the season I decided to only give them a few weeks off, and start again with a 7 week preparation scheme, instead of 4 weeks. This to make sure we can have a better and more dominant season then this year.

In the mean time I will be evaluating most of the players, and I will be forced to make some harsh decisions and kick out like 10-15 players. And hope to reshape the team into a better one then it was this season.
Don't you think you overspent on James Ward Prowse? lol and how did you manage to sell bebe for that much?

believe me i was certainly not that amused with the amount i had to pay for him. And i guess it has to do with being United trying to get an english player at an english team.

Bebe for 30M ? now that you mention it i don't know to be honest. He played decent for Blackburn and i used him half a season in which he was pretty decent but that price. just don't know it

Great end to the season. Keep it up Randy!

Preseason press conference:

We are here today to have a look back on the preseason preparation of Manchester United, also we will talk with Manager Randy about the transfers he made. Randy will also be talking with us about the rumor that he is already considered as a world class manager.

So Randy let’s have a look at the preparation matches you guys have played, anything special you can tell us about the new play style?

Well, we are back to playing with 2 strikers and no set wingers, this basically means you could see it as a 4-3-1-2 and in the end it has been working better for us then our previous way of playing in a 4-5-1 kind of tactic. So far the opponents we played against had no answer to the fast pace and accurate short passing game we are showing on the pitch this resulted in some nice wins.

But you invested quite a bit of money last season on players like Griezmann and Vadillo to play a 4-5-1 based tactic what about those type of players?

Well that’s something we’ll have to work out yet and it’s not that we won’t use them anymore in any game. I mean some games will need a different approach then others and Antoine is a player that can also play as a central attacking midfielder, Vadilllo on the other hand might have to adjust his play style a bit in the new system.

If we look back at the games against Inter and PSG we might presume you can have another shot at the title this year.

Well we played very well against them, I can’t disagree with that but to say that it instantly means we will play well in the PL and might win the title is a bit too much to assume. But of course there is always a chance we will be fighting in the top.

Something else which you also are aware of is the rumor that goes around, which says you are already 1 of the world’s best managers, how do you see that yourself?

Well it’s fair to say that the players are the ones who are responsible for the current success, all I do is make sure they stay fit, are training like they should and those kind of things. And there are so many managers which have a more impressive list of achievements.

And how about the transfers, there have been more complaints about your expenses especially the bid on Renard caused a lot of reactions.

People will always complain about paid prices either you pay too much in their eyes or way to less, Renard seems like a very promising kid and we tried everything we could when we were negotiating with Auxerre but they didn’t want to let him go and we wanted him no matter what so that explains his price.
Other promising players are Maldonado, Ludwig and Rodriguez. Maldonado and Rodriguez will be brought into the 1st team on a slow pace, this so they can adjust to the competition and life style, Ludwig and Renard will play for our -18 team, and we’ll see how they’ll end up doing in it.

And what about the players that left?

Well it’s sad to see Fletcher leave but most of the other transfers aren’t really worth mentioning.

Half way the 3rd season!

So with the first part of the 3rd season behind us, let’s have a look back at the results and have a talk with Randy what he thinks of the season so far.

So Randy how do you think the team has done so far?

Well I think we did quite a nice job so far. We won the community shield versus Arsenal although we needed penalties to do that, after that game we won our first 3 PL matches versus Q.P.R, Reading and Liverpool. Then we had to face Juventus for the super cup and won it during extra time so that was our 2nd price of the year.

Then we had a draw at wolves, which we should have won, but never the less those things can happen in football, after that we won a few more matches in our CL group and for the PL as for the COC, while we had draws against Watford, City, Schalke and Tottenham. We then had to play Zamalek and Internacional for the Fifa Club World Cup, which we also managed to win.

So I can assume you’re pretty happy with the results?

I am certainly delighted with how it is going, our new way of playing is enabling us to get these good results, and the new players we welcomed this year are playing as if they were part of the team for years. So all I can hope for now, is that we can keep this run of form up, and in the end win the COC, Fa Cup, CL and PL as well

2nd part of the season

Today we have a talk again with United manager Bierstekers, who takes a look with us on the results of the season 2014/2015 now that it has come to an end.

So Randy How does it feel to be PL and CL champions again!

This is so unbelievable; I mean who would have thought that we would have been able to win both of them 3 years on a row. Winning the PL was a little bit easier this year than last year, so that was quite a relief. The CL was thriller, Napoli give us a hard time in the away game, but we managed to overcome the 1-1 at Old Trafford and won with 4-2, we then had Real Madrid who we managed to defeat with penalties.

Then there was Porto again, but we defeated them a bit easier than we did Real Madrid. Then there was the Final against City which was a game with many faces, I had to play against my friend Berry, it was the Manchester derby it was the CL Final and it was the 6th derby of the year. Eventually we won with 2-1, so it was a hell of a party after the game was over.

What about the semi-final against Chelsea for the fa cup?

Oh really that game gave me a bloody heart attack, I mean it was 1-3 for them at half time, they then made the 1-4, and I thought it was all over. But instead of giving up I changed the approach and tried to motivate the team, which worked brilliantly we came back to 4-4 with 15 minutes to go, they then got to 4-5 and we ended up on 6-5 just before the end of injury time. So I was really happy about that.

So what are your plans for the summer?

Well since we had a good season, we decided to only have 4 weeks of preparation. On the transfer market we don’t really have an idea yet, the team we have is good and we have a decent amount of good youngsters in the 1st team and the -18 team, but if I come across talents, I certainly won’t hesitate to try and get them to Man Utd.

And are there players you are planning to let go or?

We’ll have to see, for now I don’t really have made up my mind on that matter, but it might be that I’ll let a bunch of players go, or I will try to keep the entire selection as it is.
Another great season Randy, keep it up :)
1
I am honestly uncomfortable how you're spending more than Manchester City :/
1
I agree with Glenn. Spending so much cash for people like Vadillo? Too much! Anyways, I hope that your players can develop into superstars! Finally, a great season to win everything and not even a loss!
1
Believe me some of the amounts certainly haven't been worth it.
But after the next season which I will post soon, I changed the transfer policy and i started to earn money on the transfers instead of losing money on it

Garcia

So this young winger was spotted by one of my scouts on duty in America, since I am not using wingers he’ll be retrained to be an AMC, but all in all I think we’ll have be having a great player joining us. Who will be giving the fans something to cheer for, one of his best treats are his free kicks.

Kiaku

Young but very promising left back who will be an instant backup for Fabio, he is only 15 at this moment but that won’t stop me from giving him some play time from time to time. The biggest problem was to get him away from Evian, I started with 1M and they rejected it after 5M they asked a 17,5M offer, was lucky to get it a bit lower eventually

Croft

Since we are having trouble with getting decent youth ourselves we picked this lad up from Crewe. Croft will be able to play at the midfield or as a defensive midfielder so this will grant us a few options by the time he gets into the 1st squad.

Agosto

Davide Agosto, this young Italian/Uruguayan player has more defensive talent in his toe then Pique and Puyol have together in their entire body. I might sound too confident in saying this, but what he is showing us day in day out on training and when he was playing in Uruguay is promising enough to make such a statement.

Preparation and 1st few matches:

We asked Randy Bierstekers if he had time for another chat, to look back on the preparation of this season and the 1st few games, which if we are fair did not meet the expectations of the fans, the board and Randy himself.

So Randy how are things going and how do you look back at the preparation?

Well I’m ok, but things could be better especially after the rather stressful start of this season. The preparation also started bad, I mean to lose your own tournament against Arsenal, is really a shame. And we then almost lost our other tournament as well with the draw against Atletico. The remaining friendlies went ok but I wish it would have gone better.

And how do you look back on the community shield game?

Well City actually took the lead and it stayed 0-1 until half time, the 2nd half however the team picked up their game and scored 3 goals to eventually win with 3-1. So I was happy to end up winning it again, and the players actually performed like they should in the 2nd half so I won’t complain about it too much

Then the PL started and well I guess you weren’t too happy with it?

Not happy with it? I would have fined the entire squad if they would have lost the 3rd game as well, ok losing to Liverpool can happen but Reading? The players were just thinking way too easy at that point, and they finally started playing well again.

You also managed to win the Super Cup again, can you tell us something about that?

Well for some reason the Super Cup match proved we are actually able to play well or even good when it matters. And the Super Cup is a great price to win of course.

What are your expectations for the remaining part of the season?

Well I hope we can get back on top of the PL table again, at this moment we are 9th and 7 points behind Liverpool and City who are 1st and 2nd. So we have some catching up to do, but in all fairness I think my players eventually are up for the job to become champions again.

2nd part of the Season

The 2015/2016 season has come to an end, and Manchester United Once again became Champions League Champions, next to winning the Premier League Title and the Fifa Club World Cup.

Randy, could you tell us how you think about this season?

Well it was a season of surprises that I know for sure, we won against Sao Paulo to grab the FCWC title again, we won against Chelsea for the Capital one cup, were humiliated by Cardiff in the FA cup and ended up playing against Saint-Etienne in the CL finale.

If we take a look at some of the results, some games which you should have won ended up in a loss what’s your thought about that?

Well looking at the games against Wigan 4-4, Aston Villa 0-2, West Brom 1-3 and Cardiff 1-2, I think the players just weren’t focused enough, they played well but not on a level you expect them to play at.
Also the matches against PSG were troublesome, but in the penalty shootout my players eventually kept their cool and we managed to make it into the next round.

So far this season you won the league with the lowest amount of points since you took over, what’s your opinion on that?

Well we had to adjust a little this season and we had a few bad results, but we still won the title. So even though we didn’t perform like before our opposition was even worse, most important though is to build on this season and come back stronger the next.

Does that mean we could expect a stronger Man Utd. then this year?

Well that’s what I hope to achieve, but there are so many factors which we have to deal with that I can’t predict anything. I will prepare the team as best as possible during the summer, and maybe some players will come in to deal with some of the problems we have in the squad and others will leave. But we will know where we stand after the 1st 2 months of the next season.
