Woah, that's a lot of commments :)

ebEliminator:
Tough breaks, but injuries are a part of any sport, and you have to figure out how to overcome them. I think you can do that!
It's tough having loads of injuries, but Rickie Lmabert and Adam Lallana will come back soon, and I had to deal with an injury crisis at Boro too, but I still got promoted :D

Northwood:
Still Reading

Good to hear that :)

Ward-Prowse: 'I want to play'

Southampton youngster James Ward-Prowse has complained to manager Chris Kamara about a lack of playing time, our sources say. The 20 year old has not started one game this season, and his club, Southampton, sit in 1st place after 7 games.

Ward-Prowse had this to say:
"I want to play more games, because I am good enough. I don't want to be sitting on the bench all the time, knowing I won't get a chance to prove myself. Chris [Kamara] keeps telling me that it's too big a step up for a youngster, but he knows he's kidding himself."

"I didn't get to play last season either. I don't know what he has against me, I am good enough for Southampton and Adkins, Pochettino and Mowbray all put me in as the first name in their starting XI, so why is it that now I'm not good enough? I know we have Rhys McCabe and Liam Trotter as well as the players we had last year, but I deserve more playing time."

Rumours are suggesting that Ward-Prowse could be on his way down to Tranmere, who were beaten by Southampton in the play-off final last year, but the club have said they would not be able to afford the transfer fee and the favourite to sign Ward-Prowse is now Newcastle. However, Ward-Prowse has publicly stated that he does not want to head to Tyneside.

"If I go to Newcastle, I'll have the same problem. There's no way I'll develop without game time, so maybe I could go on loan to a lower division club, but for now I just want to play football."
He's too good for the Saints! Ward-Prowse for Barca! :P

Could I get an SS of Ward-Prowse?
Congrats on being first in the Premier League..I hope to try and do this sort of thing with Walsall, never been able to do it, always sit mid-table with them if i get into the championship. good luck for the rest of the season, i look forward to see who you sign

I might try to take a League One club to the Prem, won't write a story though :)
And as for who I might sign, look out for the next update ;)
Ward-Prowse is an exciting talent but I'm sure he will figure out that it will take time to become a top player :P

Kamara returns home

Southampton will head to the Riverside Stadium for the teams next match, but the fixture will be of extra significance for Southampton's manager Chris Kamara. Kamara had been out of management for nearly 15 years but Middlesbrough offered him a job after the sacking of Tony Mowbray, and he took the club back into the Premier League at the first attempt.

It is also a well known fact that the Boro chairman Steve Gibson is a childhood friend of Kamara's, but that doesn't mean Gibson will be handing over the points.
"We will put up a fight, it'd be wrong if we didn't. I don't expect a win today, Chris has built a great side that are deservedly top of the table. It's not easy to do that straight after coming up, but Chris has done it. Kudos to him."

Southampton have lost only once all season, against Arsenal who are currently behind them by goal difference.
An emotional return for Kammy but on that pitch I'm sure his boys will win it for him :p

Kamara to Paraguay?

http://www.clarin.com/deportes/futbol/CONVOCADO-Barrios-Martino-Sudafrica-AFP_CLAIMA20100531_0167_4.jpg

Southampton manager Chris Kamara may be tempted to leave his post with the Saints as he has reportedly been offered the job as head coach of Paraguay's national football team. The side features famous players such as Oscar Cardoso and Victor Caceres, but Kamara has spoken about the rumours with a hint of anxiety.

"I don't wish to speak about Paraguay. I know a lot about them, but they have not offered me the job as of yet, so how do I even accept it if they've not even offered it? And do I even want to accept it? Just because someone working for a tabloid newspaper says I will go, you don't know anything. I bet most of you don't even know if Paraguay is a real country. B******s."

Kamara did not seem happy that he was expected to take the post, but could he be attempting to trick people into thinking he's staying? Or will he really reject the offer?
