Oriental are proud to announce they have teamed up with Nike and Australian manufacturer Edu1878 at his Kit factory in Australia. In the coming season Oriental will be sponsored by TAP Portugal again, which will provide much needed income. Oriental are into the final year of their deal with the airline.

Oh i know, shame he can't show his talents on fmscout.com :(

Going Steady

With two months passed in the season, we were travelling well. We had some pretty big fixtures coming up, including Liga Zon Sagres side Olhanense in the cup. This was a great start as, unlike AD Fafe and Pampilhosa, the two other promoted sides, we were well clear of relegation.

This fixture was going to be big, and I knew I had to plan in advance. We were going to go out to counter attack and let them try to break us down, no fancy stuff. I implemented this into the training sessions for the week and we were making progress.

Antonio Alves had been on fire, scoring goals week in week out to put us in a strong position in the top half of the table. With our new coaching system, we were now getting the most out of our players that we possibly could. We were in top form, and I couldn't see why we couldn't push for promotion.

If we kept it up, we could make one more step to becoming the best team in Lisbon. We had already nipped some fans from other Lisbon clubs, as the noise at our stadium was defeaning at home games.

It was going to be a tough month, but we were ready for it, and ready to cause an upset in the cup. We were going to go out with confidence, and hopefully reap the rewards.
By the way, Rablador, I gave you your 100th thank :D
Thank you for the 100th thank! Nice kits there by Edu, and a tough draw in the cup. Good luck! :D

Season Two: October

A fantastic month, which included a shootout win in the cup versus Liga Zon Sagres outfit Olhanense, which I will compile a report on in later updates. The month started with a victory over lowly Tondela. We then beat AD Fafe who were promoted with us. After that came SC Olhanense, and Pedro Alves put in a heroic performance to take us into the next round, and face off against Lisbon giants Sporting. After that we beat Santa Clara 2-0 to keep another clean sheet, meaning we hadn't conceded a goal all month. This run came to an end when we lost to CD Trofense which was disappointing.

Table

We were closing in on promotion, and if this form continued I don't see why we couldn't give the big guns a real run for their money. We were playing above all expectations and our simple play was just too much for opposition. Antonio Alves has been the main source of goals this season, and he kept on adding to his tally this month.

A good month overall. Good to see that you are steadily climbing the table.

Thanks Edu, as they say Onwards and Upwards.
