Awesome review of United, Justice. Are you doing one for all the big clubs?

We Won't Get Carried Away

Reporter: "Paul, congratulations on a very successful first month in the NPower League One. Your side now sits in a very promising third position. Do you think that your side has what it takes to gain another promotion?"

Bono: "Thank you. I do believe that with the right mentality, we can accomplish anything. This doesn't mean that we will aim for promotion this season. We are sitting in a great position, but you have to remember that we have been the third best team in four games. The season is forty-six games long and we still have a very long way to go before we can even think about promotion. Our target for every season is to improve on the last, and that means to avoid relegation this season. If we can achieve that, then we can start pushing our expectations up for next season. I can assure you that we won't get carried away."

Reporter: "This summer was a very busy summer for you and the club, with a lot of players leaving and even more players joining. Will this affect the squad harmony in any way?"

Bono: "Obviously it takes time for new players to settle in to a new club with new surroundings but these guys are professional footballers. This is their job and they know that they have to put in 110% in to everything if they want to play and to win trophies. Settling in is something that they have to do themselves, and I'm proud that they have done well so far."

Reporter: "Obi Anoruo is without a doubt the greatest player to have ever worn a Vauxhall jersey. However, he has now been in the squad since you were a team fighting against relegation from the Blue Square Bet North. Three promotions later, is he still good enough to be fighting in England's third highest league?"

Bono: "In my eyes, you don't judge a player by his reputation, but by his performances. He has been a legend for us, and for the world of football. It is amazing that he with each step up in class, he has been able to step up his own performances. Why sell a player who can consistently pull off top performances? If he can keep on producing those moments of magic that we all know him for, he will always have a place in this team."
Nice update there! Good to see the backing for Obi as well. Lots of players from a lower league don't stick around

Season Six: September Update

After a very promising start to the season, we were looking to cement our form and to keep pushing forward. Hopefully we could prove our worth this month, with some very tricky games to be played out.

Results

At a glance, we were very inconsistent, which we were not. Leyton Orient had the much better squad and deservedly won. We then beat Rotherham, although we did not take all of our chances and we almost paid the price. We then got battered by Oxford, who played so much better than us on the day. We then won against Gillingham, which we did deserve. Up next was our big game, a Capital One Cup match against Wigan. We did very well against them and we were unlucky to concede very late on. We then did very well to claim a point away to a much stronger Coventry squad. Overall, I am pleased with claiming seven points from these fixtures. These points will help us a lot later in to the season.

Player of the Month

Nat Kerr gets my vote for Player of the Month in September after a string of very impressive performances. He was very strong at the back and he marked a good month for him with the winner against Gillingham.

NPower League One

We have slipped down to eighth place in the league, but we do have at least one game-in-hand over the teams around us. We are performing very well and we can be very happy with our work so far. Hopefully we can stay away from the relegation zone come the end of the season.

October Fixtures

We have eight very tricky fixtures next month, including two games against Rochdale. Hopefully we can claim a few points from this month to help our cause.
Unlucky on the results but they are not too bad.

Thanks mate, hopefully I can keep pushing on :)
Really unlucky results, it appears your team have got carried away :/ still firmly believe you can get at least a playoff place though. Good luck for the rest of the season!

Thanks mate, I'll just keep fighting for each result and then see where they get us come the end of the season :)

Season Six: October Update

After a very good start to the season, our results started to become a little more inconsistent. However, we were not worried about this as we were in a very strong position. Could we keep our strong form going?

Results

We started off the month with a poor defeat to Rochdale. We bounced back with a win against Walsall, before losing to Rochdale again in the JPT. We did bounce back again, however, with a 3-0 battering of Colchester. We then collected a positive draw away to Bradford, before claiming two wins and a draw in our final three games. I am very happy with this month, as we proved that we have the ability to bounce back from poor results. We also proved our goalscoring ability, scoring eleven goals this month. I am pleased with this.

Player of the Month

Obi Anoruo is my player of the month for October. After a slow start to the season for the iconic striker, Obi finally found form and fired in five goals this month. His goals have been of the utmost quality and have epitomized his class. He has been a phenom for us in recent games and hopefully he can continue his marvelous form.

NPower League One

We have climbed up to a very impressive fourth place in the league. We are just four points behind second place, and automatic promotion, while we have a game in hand over them. Our goalscoring and conceding stats have been average compared to the teams around us, which proves that we do enough to win our games, nothing more. This is encouraging for us as it shows that we have ironed out a lot of our flaws from previous seasons.

November Fixtures

Next month will be our toughest yet, with home games against Derby and Barnsley, and away games against Swindon and Birmingham. Hopefully we can escape with our pride intact.
The 2nd set of results is a lot more positive and youve managed a good climb up the table as well! Good work mate and keep up the climb
