Great stuff as usual Louis? I think it was fairly obvious Michael wrote that :P

Not really, he wouldn't have censored it :) Thanks Beany :D

Rodgers out by 'mutual consent'

Liverpool and manager Brendan Rodgers have parted company after a string of defeats see the club lying in 16th position. Many fans have disagreed with the decision as Rodgers had restored success to the club, after two consecutive 2nd place finishes, despite winning no competitions. The club's official statement is as follows:

"Liverpool F.C. can confirm the departure of Brendan Rodgers by mutual consent this morning. We are disappointed with the club's performance in the league this season and we felt a change was needed before the club went downhill. We wish Brendan the best of luck in the future."

The clubs players have already taken to Twitter to wish Rodgers good luck for his next job.

luis16suarez:
Wow just seen that #LFC have sacked @ rodgers_brendan. Did a lot for my career #Bestofluck

BigCheickTiote:
@rodgers_brendan has gone Who's in next? I vote @ElvascoAguirre

Ladbrokes have also been on to Twitter with the odds on the next man to take charge at Anfield.

Javier Aguirre 6/1 Luciano Spalletti 7/1 Martin Jol 9/1 Fred Rutten 20/2 Jamie Carragher 15/1 Chris Kamara 32/2

Javier Aguirre is the current favourite but ex-Chelsea manager Luciano Spalletti is also in the running. The two Dutchmen on the list, Fred Rutten who is the current Vittesse Arnhem manager and Martin Jol who is in charge at Middlesbrough are also rumoured to be considering the job, but Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has told BBC Sport that he would love the job and Chris Kamara, who has taken Southampton to top of the table was also one of the front runners, but he has publicly said that if he were to take the job he would not want to join until the end of the season, which has proven to be a major setback in the chances of him getting the post.

Hope you join Liverppol
Chris Kamara would not go from a team that is top of the Premier League to a team that is 16th! DONT DO IT
2013-05-29 13:52#106275 Jord_FFGI : Hope you join Liverppol
But the question is whether I should...

Relax, if I do move, I'll only join once the season has ended, so no relegation battles :P Oh, and they're lucky not to be even further down, because I just won 3-1 at Anfield ;)
1. Loving Tiote's twitter name!

2. Loving how angry Pelligrini is...he seems to calm in real life!

3. I'm lovin' it...

4. I have to agree with the others. Despite me wanting to see you in charge of Liverpool FC I don't see the point in leaving the job that you are doing so well in. Stick with it and don't give into the temptation of the mighty Reds

1. It's his real Twitter name! I looked it up!

2. Real life is boring! :P

3.

4. Well, then I'm staying at St.Mary's :)
From 2nd to 16th huh? Seems like a plane crash :P

And then the plane crashed into water but the people survived because Kammy was coming, but then he ran away and they all died. But they were plastic fans of course, glory hunters because, for once, Liverpool were actually quite good :))
It would be awesome if you could go to Liverpool, but I know that's not happening because only a fool would go from top to bottom of the Prem :P

Without me, Saints would go to the bottom of the table and Liverpool to the top ;)
