Former Fulham manager Chris Kamara has made a massive announcement about his recent decision to leave the Cottagers. He has said in an interview for Southampton's fanzine that he had not in fact resigned, but he had an argument with the Director Of Football Jez Moxey, who made up a fake resignation letter which he showed to the chairman Mohamed Al Fayed, who tore up the contract, believing that Kamara had resigned. Kamara was duly told by the secretary that he had to pack up his stuff. When asked why, the secretary told Kamara he had resigned, and looked confused as Kamara did not know of his resignation. Kamara has since said that he could not find Al Fayed, as he had left by then, meaning that Kamara could not get his job back. He has said that he is considering legal action against Moxey, who he had formerly worked with at Stoke, but that it can wait for the summer as Kamara must now focus on leading Southampton back to the Premier League.
