The most important thing about this month was to get points from the first three games and we certainly managed that. Getting those 7 points has meant that we have definitely avoided relegation and I can share with you now that we are fighting for a Champions League spot; in our first season in the Premier League. We are level on points with 4th place Chelsea but they have a game in hand against Southampton which they should win comfortably. However, they are still yet to play us for the second time in the league so it could come down to a decider against the two clubs. Our other two matches are against Everton, who offered me their manager position earlier in the season, and Aston Villa so we should pick up 6 points from those two matches. It will be an incredible achievement if we manage to get back into Europe, even if it is in the Europa League for a second season in a row.

Ahhh a new person to comment on my story...welcome! Thanks for reading. There is a strong chance we will make the Europa League again...would be a great achievement!

What a final month! It was just simply perfect! We dominated every single game and finally showed that we are capable of putting teams away by one or two goals. This final month came down to who would grab the final Champions League spot and it was between ourselves and Chelsea. Chelsea did everything right in order to get the final spot apart from one thing...they didn’t beat us. Huddersfield Town, in their first season in the Premier League have managed to qualify for the Champions League. I think this goes down as one of my biggest achievements on Football Manager. We were expected by everyone to get relegated straight away but instead we have totally gone against expectations and shown at times we are a force to be reckoned with. It has been an incredible journey with lots of highs and downs but come the end of the season, when it matters, we really did perform. Up The Terries!

I have been offered a contract three times in this past month by Huddersfield Town in order to keep me at the club for three more seasons...I have delayed twice and rejected once. I am eager to find out if any other clubs will try obtaining my services but then also the temptation of being in the Champions League with Huddersfield Town is also rather tempting. I will have to make this decision very shortly so I am sure it will feature in an update soon.

Manager of the Year

I really hope you stay, you have done amazingly well and it would be a shame not to see you lead your side out in Europe's biggest competition :D

It is going to be an extremely tough decision as quite a big club wants me to become their manager. More information will be in the next update. Thanks for reading.
Amazing finish to the season, 4th place is wonderful! Well deserved Manager of the Year award :D

Part of me actually cannot believe how so many 1-0 wins managed to get us to fourth place. The team will need quite a bit of improvement made in playing and backroom staff. Thanks for reading.

Haha trust me mate, 1-0 wins I am very familiar with! They were our specialty first season at Inter hahaha
Finishing fourth in the first season is such a remarkable achievement! :O Congrats on that, now I hope you push for the title next season! :P
Great finish mate! Weimann looks to be a great signing! Good luck in the CL!
Great finish mate and I hope you can stay with them for another year so you can player European football with them.
Why thank you. I am very proud of that achievement, it is one of my biggest achievements. I will be pushing for the title if I decide to stay.
Weimann has huge potential and could end up being a key player next season if he continues his great run of form come the new season. Thanks for reading.
I could stay with them...I am just unsure whether I want to or not. Could do with yours and others input on my next post. Thanks for reading.

Spurs Come Knocking...

The former manager of Tottenham Hotspur, Marcelo Bielsa, has taken the decision to step down as manager of the North London club. He has decided that despite getting Tottenham Hotspur to the Champions League by finishing in third place in the Premier League, he has taken up the job with F.C. Internazionale. This has left the manager’s job vacant with the chairman Daniel Levy seeming quite eager to get someone installed as the new man. My name has been thrown about the rumour mill with me be asking to comment on whether I wanted the job or not...I expressed an interest in moving down south to Totteham. However, I thought that this was going to be a simple decision for me to make, yet nearly a week on in real life I am still yet to make a decision. Yes partly due to real life commitments but also that I am not sure what route to take this story down. This is where any feedback and opinions would be greatly appreciated; I know the final decision is mine and advice may be to do what I want but what would you do?

Huddersfield Town AFC Situation

Dean Hoyle has offered me the following contract terms:
  • Transfer Budget £38 million
  • Wage Budget: £500k
  • Contract Salary: I won’t share this as whichever I choose I will put it to the lowest amount as I don’t see it having any real impact on the club’s finances.

The team situation is that we are going to play next season still in the Premier League but also against some of the best clubs in the world in the Champions League. I can never see this happening to Huddersfield Town in real life so it is a bit surreal that I could manage them in such a prestigious competition. In regards to players last season I managed to invest the given transfer budget in some quality players who appeared to be getting better and better as the season come to an end. I am confident that under my leadership and with a bit of rebuilding (mainly in defence) that we could have a good season in all competitions. However, do I want to pass up the opportunity of moving to a bigger club who have more of a chance in my opinion of doing better in the Premier League and Champions League?

Tottenham Hotspur Situation

Daniel Levy has offered me the following contract terms:
  • Transfer Budget £37 million
  • Wage Budget: £1.4 million
  • Contract Salary: As above.
  • Philopsophy: playing attacking football and develop players using the club’s youth system

The team situations is that they finished higher in the league than us and will also be playing in the Champions League next season. There is literally no difference in contract terms so the team may be a deciding factor. At Huddersfield Town there will need to be a lot of changes that need to be made yet if I go to Tottenham Hotspur, yes improvements will need to be made but not half as many. The team is still fortunate to have the likes of Gareth Bale Hugo Lloris still at the club just to name two. I have always been a fan of Tottenham Hotspur, especially in the days of Harry Redknapp as in my opinion they played some of the best football in the Premier League. I think I am capable, if referring back to my Liverpool FC save, of creating a similar style of team which can go into games and be expected to win and win comfortably.

This is an extremely difficult decision for me as you can see so I would appreciate advice and opinions posted below but please do justify anything you put. Thank you for reading.
Go to Tottenham! Gareth Bale is a monster! Lol
