#1. Atletico de Madrid- A LEGENDary Reign
http://s40.photobucket.com/user/fzemdegs/media/Untitled_zpsc38a04a9.png.htmlHighly popular manager Diego Simeone has been sacked as manager of Atletico Madrid, and many were puzzled by his removal. In his place, new kid on the block Aidan Legend has taken over and is determined to take over. In his short reign, he has already conducted some great transfer business including the signing of wonderkid Paul Pogba, and all of a sudden maybe life under Legend might not be so bad.
Ducksworthh is a new member to the site, and brings us his first story. His writing is amazing, with a great mix of detail and length, and his graphical skills have been exemplary so far. His presentation has been good, although we are in too early a stage in the story to discuss content. However, the future looks bright for Ducksworthh and his story is sure to attract followers if he keeps up this work.

#2. AFC Ajax- The Rebirth of Total Football
The master of Total Football, Johan Cruyff, is back despite his elderly status and has taken over as manager of iconic Dutch club Ajax. He has not forgotten his tricks and now he is looking to implement Total Football in 2014. Whether he can or not remains to be seen, but Cruyff is no rookie manager, that's for sure.
k1rups is somewhat of a legend around the site, and his return with a brand new story has heralded a very positive response. His idea for a story is great, with Total Football being a very popular concept. He has only updated once, but it was absolute quality as he offered an insight into his great tactics. k1rup's story looks extremely promising and if he continues in this manner a SOTM nomination may be on the horizon.

#3. Newcastle United- The French Revolution
Alan Pardew has been sensationally sacked as manager of Newcastle United, and in his place is ex-player David Ginola. Ginola heralds the beginning of the French Revolution, as he promptly signed Clement Grenier and promising that 'Newcastle will never be the same.' Ginola has made a good start to the season and is currently on track for a respectable finish.
toonman8589's Anderlecht story unfortunately ended, and in it's place is this new story with his favourite club, Newcastle United. The content is good, with some good transfer business and league, but the presentation can be improved. He doesn't experiment much with graphics, but that doesn't define a good story. I believe that to really improve his story, toonman must improve his punctuation and grammar as it really breaks up the writing. Apart from that, it has the makings of a good story.

#4. Wolfsburg- The New German Superpower
Wolfsburg's manager is on his way, and in his place is former footballing star Alexander Dunlop. In a quick transition, he makes some shrewd signings and quick establishes himself in charge. Now the season proper awaits, and only time will tell if Wolfsburg can deliver on the pitch...
xander_dunlop1 is another new member, and his first story is commendable. He has created a good alternate timeline for his character, and slotted him in nicely as manager of Wolfsburg. He has only updated twice, but he seems to be covering all the basics and has a good grasp of the bbcodes. With some tweaking on presentation and maybe some more images, this story could go far and xander should be applauded for his efforts thus far.

#5. Arsenal- Life After Wenger
It's time for life after Wenger at Arsenal. Time to rebuild, and the signings of Lars Bender and Mattias Destro show this. After a good pre-season and a decent start to the year, the Gunners will now look to climb the table and fight for Europe and possibly even the title.
DavidRoland brings us his debut story with Arsenal. His updates are direct and personal, and he opted not to use any big name former player or made-up personality, instead using himself and updating from his point of view. He has made some good signings and the content is good. His writing is good as well, and I like the dot points outlining the pros. However, I think the presentation needs some work with perhaps some centering. His attempts at graphic making have actually been quite good so perhaps he could use that again, and if he can improve his presentation this story could go places.

So that is our round-up of FM Stories for this week. I hope that you enjoyed this and if your story was included take any feedback on board, as to how you can improve your technique. I am by no means saying I am a good story writer myself and instead am just offering some advice, so don’t take it badly if you feel against what I have said as remember it is not anyone else’s opinion it is just mine. We all enjoy reading these stories and plenty of others, as they are all good for their own reasons. Be sure to keep writing, working hard and your story will also be included in FMSW and maybe even might get a future Story of the Month nomination!
