Ancelotti still keen on Chiriche?

Improvement: Carlo Ancelotti has guided Madrid to 1st in La Liga

Real Madrid's manager, Carlo Ancelotti has reiterated his desire to add Romanian defender, Vlad Chiriche? to his defensive back four.

The Italian has been a known admirer of the center back, publicly announcing his interest in Chiriche? last year - something which didn't go down too well with Totenham's head coach, André Villas-Boas.

"I would love to add him to my squad. As you know, I think he's a great player, a great defender. He may not be the tallest, or the strongest, but he has everything needed to be one of the best center backs in the world, and I'm sure Villas-Boas would allow him to leave for a great team such as Madrid."

An inside source at Real Madrid has also confirmed that Madrid failed in a late bid to sign the Romanian in the summer, with Spurs rejecting an offer thought to be worth around £40m. However, Spurs could be ready to sell the 28 year old should they get a similar offer, with several center backs already identified by Villas-Boas.

Mardid's performances have certainly improved this season, with his side currently sat top of La Liga on 43 points.
Is Chiriches that good to keep? I'd sell him at 50M+
Josh Despite signing a contract, City still looking at him, but unless they pay me like £90m they aint getting ;)

Blackpool No Problem :)

Nathan Aw, thank you! :D

Pauker Trust me, I was very tempted to sell. Last season he averaged 7.37, this season not as much. I would've sold him, but it was really late in the TW and I didn't really have enough time to get any good replacements in, so decided to keep him :)
Does that mean, that if a bid of similar amount would come in, you would sell? Also, who are your targets, IF Chiriches leaves?

The Draw

Easy game Nick! You should easily progress!
Lucky there in the draw mate! Should go through easily; good luck!
Easy, easy draw. Good luck, either way!
Jeremy Yeah, he's getting on now - 28 - so I would sell if a bid of over £30m came in. & that's a secret ;)

Josh Certainly favourable, but OM are a good side, they're doing really well in the French League!

TAT Hopefully I will, would like to try and get as far as possible, even hopefully try and defend the title...

Jeremy Thank you!

Tottenham target Dória

Dória (pictured above) has been impressive since his move to Spain 4 years ago.

Tottenham could be lining up a move for Brazilian international, Dória, Goal.com can confirm.

The 23 year old joined Spanish side Real Sociedad 4 years ago and his impressive displays have not gone unnoticed, with several big clubs eyeing up the center back.

Spurs' interest dates back to June 2013, but Daniel Levy, Franco Baldini and Villas-Boas decided against signing the youngster and instead opted to move for Romanian defender Vlad Chiriche?, who has since become a key member of the Tottenham line up.

Spurs also passed up the opportunity to sign the Brazilian for £8m just before his move to Real Sociedad due to the number of defenders at the club during the time, with Steven Caulker also looking set to make a return to White Hart Lane.

Sociedad - who are currently sat in 7th place - value the defender at around £30m, however Spurs are reluctant to spend so heavily, and would only consider moving for the Brazilian should they move on Vlad Chiriche?.
Doria is a great defender with a huge future ahead of him! I hope you get him.
Great defender, perhaps a pairing with Caulker is in the horizon?
