@Walter x2: Thought I'd add some comedy into it, while I was at it. And.. maybe ;)

Triple Loan Deals for Racing

Racing have revealed that they have brought in Imoh Ezekiel, Mario Marin and Borja Martinez all on season-long loans, as requested by their manager, Raul. Mario Marin has arrived from Valencia as a showing of 'good faith' for their link, whilst Imoh Ezekiel and Borja Martinez will arrive from Standard Liege and Galatasaray respectively.

Imoh Ezekiel

Nigerian Talent: Has the Nigerian been brought to ease the pain on Bolado's departure?

As Racing gear-up for their season opener against Sevilla at El Sardinero, they will be counting on the performance of Imoh Ezekiel. Imoh Ezekiel is considered to be one of the top Nigerian talents in the last couple of years, and rejected advances from the Belgian National team to play for his country of birth. Unfortunately, Ezekiel will miss a great part of the pre-season, as he will be nursing a 5 week injury he received during his loan period last year at Cottbus.

In the other hand, Mario Marin will be given a tough challenge to displace current-captain and right-back, Francis, from the first-team, but he is confident of doing such thing, as he revealed in his press conference. Marin said,”Racing did a fantastic work last season and you can see that the captain [Francis] played a great role in their success. They have been watching me for a while, and they did approach me earlier this year [January], but I was advised against to leave mid-season. Either way, I’m here at Racing now, and I’ll do whatever the boss [Raul] asks me to do.”

Tough Challenge: Marin will have to displace current-captain, Francis, in order for a first-team role at Racing.

Borja Martinez was recently signed by Turkish giants Galatasaray, but they have loaned him back to his native Spain, as they hope that first-team action will help Borja’s development. Borja left Atletico Madrid earlier this week for a fee of £2.5 million, which is considered a gamble by many Galatasaray fans, and will be hoping that he can improve at Racing this year. However, he will have a tough work to do that, as Raul has a number of players in that role, which include Borja Granero, Josep Sene, Andreu and Hector Simon. Whether Borja Martinez will be getting much gaming time at Racing, remains a doubt.

Borja Martinez.

Racing Bound: The former U16 Spain international (#16) will link up with a new club for the second time this summer.
Very nice update! Three good loan signings there, hopefully they'll help you do well this season!
Some good deals in there, Liga Adelante will be a challenge, and Sevilla is a monumental first game! (But i know the result ;))
@Josh: Thanks, hopefully they'll help me :D

@Walter: Indeed, it will be tough.. And, who knows.. I might've lied for all you know ;)

Double Transfer Swoop for Racing

Sergio Gomez has signed for Racing today, along with Italian winger Mauro Bollino, albeit the latter on loan. Sergi Gomez will join Racing later today after both club and player agreed on a fee for the transfer of the young centre-back to Racing. Meanwhile, Mauro Bollino will be the fourth loan signing that Racing have made this window, joining from Italian side Palermo.

Sergi Gomez was subject of a bid from Deportivo as well, but decided that the aid of the Merengue legend, Raul, would be a better career move for him. In his conference,"It's good to be at Racing, along with Raul and all these players. I was forced out of Barca 'B', after I was promised a move to the senior side, and it never happened. I'm here to prove all the doubters wrong, and hopefully, to help Racing get to the Liga BBVA." Sergi Gomez's former club, Barca 'B', commanded a fee of £110,00, a 'bargain' for Gomez's current quality, and what the 23 year-old can become.

La Masia Product: The centre-back graduated from La Masia with the likes of Busquets, Cuenca, Tello, Rafinha and Thiago.

Meanwhile, Mauro Bollino has joined on a season-long loan from Palermo, and will be looking to impress in the Spanish side. With Raul looking for rotations on the wing, he decided to bring in the 20 year-old from Palermo. Racing will only pay £200 pounds per week for the winger, half of what Palermo currently offers to the young Italian. Bollino will be available to play as soon he is registered for last years Segunda Division B1 champions.

Mauro Bollino

Loaned In: The winger will be determined to prove his worth at El Sardinero.
