January Transfer Window Opens

Now the transfer window has opened, Braga boss Armando Azevedo has already got his teeth into the markets prized assets.

Azevedo has brought in three new signings into the Braga ranks, whilst letting two leave.

I had deals in place before the transfer window opened, today I present you to them as official Sporting Clube Braga players. I would like to present you..."

Pedro Torrado

£400,000 from FC Belenenses

"My scouts found Torrado when scouting around Portugal around November, when they set out a report for me, they told me he was a great young center back that can improve drastically in the future. He possesses a fair amount of pace whilst underlining his heading ability.

Personally, I cannot find a place in the team for him at the moment with the defense playing so well at this moment in time but I'm hoping I can send him out on loan to a team where he can easily get a game in and come back stronger and enhance his ability to find his way into the first team"

Fernando Prass

£400,000 from Palmeiras

"At the moment we have Eduardo who has been a rock in goal for us this season and has done extremely well but when my scouts in Brazil were watching Palmeiras in Brazil's Second Division. Despite the league being quite easy, they told me he was a brilliant shot-stopper and that being his main strength. It's good that Eduardo now has fightable competition which makes both players determined to get that starting spot"

Sadio Mané

£3,300,000 from FC Red Bull Salzburg

"Mané is superb. There is no other words to put it. He has bags of skill and dribbles like a young Maradona, he's superb. He joins with quite a hefty fee but I'm paying good money for great service in Sadio"

"When you spend, you have to sacrifice others, as many managers around the world know. We have had to sacrifice two players so far. The two players are Quincy, who has been unsettled here in Portugal as many of you know has left on a free transfer and Paulo Vinícius has left Braga to join Brazilian side Atlético Paranaense for £110,000"

When asked about any possible approaches for players who's contract runs out in July, Azevedo wouldn't answer, saying: "I can't comment but I have beared that in mind"
Sadio Mané looks amazing!
Sadio Mané looks great, is the very young! Take care of him, and may he have a special coach or a player older partner.
Good luck !
Seems you splashed the cash on Mane!
Wow some really good signings there! Mane looks really good, let's hope he justifies his price tag!
Mane looks great!
AAN: I know! Hope he performs well for me :)

Bebero: Thanks, good idea in getting a personal trainer. I'll consider it :)

Pauker: Yeah, hopefully he justifies what I paid for him

Josh: Definitely! :)

Jonte-23: Thanks, hope he does well :)
