Season Seven Begins!

Back to preseason, you know the jist now

After a brief holiday to get away from football for possibly the only time of year, I'm back in action and back to the beginning in preseason, this time preparing for season seven at the helm of the club.

We had to line up some friendly fixtures to play in and this season is majorly compromised of lower league teams at first before coming to the tougher teams to get a taster for what was to come this season.

Preseason Fixtures

This fixture list is subject to change due to the fact that I got invites after getting this screenshot!

Now I had to arm myself with the team to play in those friendlies. I'm looking for young players who still have some developing to do but that can already challenge for a starting place. To do so, I needed a better budget than last time, and this is what I got:

ONE MILLION POUNDS! I must admit, this gave me a mini-heart attack and it's fair to say this is how much of a benefit continental football is! If we can keep getting into the competition the money is going to keep streaming in.

So, who did we buy?

Transfers In

Enrico Medri - Free

Enrico Medri looks like a quality young signing and a player that could easily make us a profit, too. His off the ball is a bit shaky but that's something a little bit of individual training can help!

Rogerio Tavares - Free

You remember this guy? Yes, I signed Rogerio Tavares a couple of season's back and after he didn't make a significant impact I decided to let him go for £7k to Farense. Well, I can confirm this was a bit of a panic buy, and we've brought him into the club again for £70k more than we sold him for. Bad business on my part.

Andrés Rossoto - £300k

This is my favourite signing of the window. Andrés Rossoto arrives from boyhood club Municipal in Guatemala for a paltry £300k and a trip from us in a friendly match. He's got some great attributes and I really think he could develop into a fine talent.

We let a couple of players go on free transfers and I can't remember if we let anyone go on a money-making deal, as well. Hopefully the players we brought in, however, really boost our season and maybe we can go one further this season?

Next up will be preseason and the results of it. We'll also find out the draw for our Europa League Playoff match and hopefully we can enjoy another season of continental football!
Rossoto sounds like a pasta dish :P
great signings, you look to be set for the season ahead. GO ORIENTAL!
