United's Portuguese Star Heads Back To Homeland

Heading Home: Elvis Vilakazi joins Vitoria Guimarães permanently
Manchester United have confirmed that their deadly Portuguese frontman Elvis Vilakazi will be joining mega-rich Vitoria Guimarães for £24 million pounds - ten times the amount they purchased him for from Rio Ave.
Vilakazi has spent the past two seasons on loan at Vitoria Guimarães, who are owned by English businessman Martyn Godfrey, and this move will see him go back to his homeland after never really paving a way into the starting lineup at Old Trafford.
After creating a big reputation in Portugal through is time at Rio Ave, the then 19-year old was whisked away to England where he joined the English giants as one of David Moyes' new signings in the 2015-16 season.
But after a loan return to his first club, and then two more at his current employers, Vilakazi decided coming back to Portugal was the best thing for his career.
"If I want to be the best player I can be," the 24 year old said, "Then going back to the club [Vit. Guimarães is the right choice. I can grow there and I know the place well. Hopefully I can also push for a place in the national team."
Vilakazi is regarded as one of national team manager Jorge Jesus' key men alongside Tottenham's Felisberto and up and coming Bayern Munich full back Filipe Castelo.
