Thanks mate, hopefully it can give the club a bit of a boost financially!
Get the ground packed out and it'll be roaring like the good old days, great initiative there.

SERIE D GIRONE D PREVIEW: PARMA VS. FORLI

Date: 14 November 2015
Kick Off: 14:00

Parma
Based In: Parma
Position: 2nd
Manager: Paolo Vanoli
Captain: Alessandro Lucarelli
Key Player: Matteo Guazzo
Injuries & Suspensions: Alessio Innocenti Crocefisso Miglietta
Last Match: 1-0 Vs. Lentigione
Form:

Fans Prediction: ”Our form has picked up a lot of late, and that is really great because we are now in a position where if we win this game we are in touching distance of Forli. They are having a great season and I am sure they are going to put up a real fight but hopefully, at the Ennio Tardini, where our last game was a 7-2 thumping can inspire us to claim that precious victory we need.”

Forli
Based In: Forli
Position: 1st
Manager: Massimo Gadda
Captain: Enrico Fantini
Key Player: Fabio Adobati
Injuries & Suspensions: Fabio Adobati
Last Match: 2-1 Vs. San Marino Calcio
Form:

Fans Prediction: ”We’re such a small team and should not be anywhere near the promotion spot let alone going into the game against the biggest team in the division four points clear of them. They are a very good powerful side that we will find difficult to stop but if we can claim a point against them then our position begins to look even more rosy.”

Now this is going to be a big test! 1st vs 2nd, love it :P
This looks to be a great match

League Table

Player of the Month

Francesco Luoni

Despite missing the decisive penalty in the Serie D Cup tie against Siracusa, Francesco Luoni has had a fantastic month as Parma moved to within two points of top spot. The full back has put in some fantastic performances including a stunning performance against Correggese, and more performances like that will mean that the player will not be playing at this level for long, hopefully with the team joining him at a higher level.

Injuries

---

Next Month

A huge month, despite only three games for Parma. Three huge fixtures to come as well, with third placed Bellaria visiting the Ennio Tardini on the fifth of December, before Parma travel to Villafranca Veronese on the twelfth for a huge game. Their final game of December sees Parma visit former leaders in Romagna Centro as Parma round off a huge month of football for Paolo Vanoli’s men.

Other News

08.11: Struggling Fortis Juventus took the decision to remove their manager, Francesco Vannini, with the club lying in 20th position in the league and looking likely to be relegated.
25.11: After sacking their manager, just over two weeks earlier, Fortis Juventus took the decision to announce San Marino Calcio manager Filippo Masolini as their new manager, leaving the San Marino based club in search of a new manager.

Manager’s Thoughts

It’s been one of those months, where everything went really well at the start and has gone a little bit wrong at the end of the month. Losing that cup tie was a little disappointing but at least it’s given us nothing but Serie D to focus on now which is refreshing. However losing to Clodiense was really frustrating especially since we created a lot of chances, but again it was a case of not putting one away. If we’d won that tie we’d be top of the league now. There is still a lot of football to go this season though, so fingers crossed we can pull it out of the bag next month against three big teams.

PAOLO VANOLI SIGNS CONTRACT EXTENSION

03 December 2015

________________________________________
- Parma manager signs three year deal until June 2018
- Has led the club to second in Serie D after 16 games
- Board backing manager to achieve promotion to the Lega Pro

Parma Calcio 1913 have today confirmed that manager Paolo Vanoli has today signed a new contract to keep him at the Ennio Tardini until June 2018. With the man in charge believed to be delighted at securing a new contract, having guided Parma to second in Girone D of Serie D this year, Vanoli is looking forward to moving forward with the club and hopefully achieving promotion this summer without the pressure of an expiring contract on his back.

”This is a fantastic achievement for myself. It’s been a lot of hard work over the last couple of weeks and we’ve done really well to get into the position we have, so if we can keep working just as hard then we can achieve something really special.” The manager told Parma’s official club website, delightedly, before continuing, ”It’s going to be extremely tough, trust me on that, because of the rules of the league but if we can keep grinding out the results we need then we will have done a good job. I am loving it here, and it was never my intention to leave after that initial one year contract had ended.”

Parma chairman Nevio Scala, also stated that the club was delighted that Vanoli had extended his stay at the club. ”He has shown already how capable he is at managing this club and the board and myself will continue to back him for a long time because he is doing a very good job at this club. Hopefully there will be a lot of success to come with Paolo at the healm.”

Congrats man
