Player of the Month
Francesco Luoni
Despite missing the decisive penalty in the Serie D Cup tie against Siracusa, Francesco Luoni has had a fantastic month as Parma moved to within two points of top spot. The full back has put in some fantastic performances including a stunning performance against Correggese, and more performances like that will mean that the player will not be playing at this level for long, hopefully with the team joining him at a higher level.

Next Month
A huge month, despite only three games for Parma. Three huge fixtures to come as well, with third placed Bellaria visiting the Ennio Tardini on the fifth of December, before Parma travel to Villafranca Veronese on the twelfth for a huge game. Their final game of December sees Parma visit former leaders in Romagna Centro as Parma round off a huge month of football for Paolo Vanoli’s men.

Manager’s Thoughts
It’s been one of those months, where everything went really well at the start and has gone a little bit wrong at the end of the month. Losing that cup tie was a little disappointing but at least it’s given us nothing but Serie D to focus on now which is refreshing. However losing to Clodiense was really frustrating especially since we created a lot of chances, but again it was a case of not putting one away. If we’d won that tie we’d be top of the league now. There is still a lot of football to go this season though, so fingers crossed we can pull it out of the bag next month against three big teams.
