A deserved win but I don't like the way we conceded two goals to give them a way back into the game. We took our foot off the gas and it almost cost us dearly.

A massive result that takes us into the 2nd round. The lads really put a shift in. The only real negative from the game was the fact that I had to sub off substitute Josh Hosie because he was in danger of getting sent off. I'll be having a quiet word with him for sure.

Saturday 7th November

Zac Corbett joins Chippenham Town on a free transfer

Sunday 8th November

Ronaldo Brown joins Bromsgrove Sporting on a season-long loan with Bromsgrove paying his wages

Monday 9th November

Thursday 12th November

Bolton offered me an interview but I turned them down as, quite frankly, I can't stand them as a club.

Not much to say about this game. It was a fairly routine win where we played well and didn't give the opposition a sniff. Job done.

Monday 16th November

Warrington to play Cirencester Town at home in the FA Trophy 3rd Qualifying Round

Tuesday 17th November

It's a busy day at Cantilever Park as we strengthen the squad with three brilliant signings.

Goalkeeper Joe Fryer, Midfielder Ollie Banks, and Striker Luke Charman all join the club on free transfers.

Safely through to the next round of the FA Trophy as expected. I gave debuts to all three of our new signings and it was great to see Luke Charman get on the scoresheet.

Monday 23rd November

Warrington to play Stockport County at home in the FA Trophy 1st Round

Wednesday 25th November

The club offers me a new contract which I'm more than happy to accept.

Saturday 28th November

Wycombe Wanderers 1 - Davies (80)

The FA Cup journey is over for another year but massive credit to the lads who pushed the League Two leaders all the way, holding them at bay for 80 minutes. I'm proud of their performance and think it's unfair to be negative about that result.

We now have a seven-point gap at the top of the National League North table with a game in hand. Will we get back to back promotions?

Next Month's Fixtures

There's no reason why we can't win all our league games there, especially after what happened at Southport in the FA Cup. The FA Trophy game will be tough though.
Still flying high! Have to agree with your view on the trio of signings. I can't believe you've managed to lure Ollie Banks to the club. Absolutely outstanding signing for that level! Very unfortunate to go out in the FA Cup, but pushing a club of Wycombe's calibre so close is pleasing. Hopefully Kellett's injury woes aren't beginning to reappear...

An absolute steal for this level! I couldn't believe it when he was interested

December 2020

Thursday 3rd December

Dylan Parker agrees to join Chesterfield on a free transfer in January. The striker was upset that I signed Luke Charman and as one of our highest earners, I was more than happy to let him go. It's a shame as I expected a lot more from him. It does mean we can look to bring in some defensive cover using the wages that will be freed up.

How this game was only 3-0 is beyond me. We must have had enough chances to score about ten, including three penalties. Still, we dominated and picked up the win, can't ask for much more than that.

After scoring last time out and with Fidel O'Rourke looking out of sorts, I decided to give Luke Charman a start....what a decision that turned out to be. Luke took his chance and scored four goals to secure his place in the team for the foreseeable future!

I can't believe we've lost this. We were much the better side and led the game twice so to lose is gut-wrenching. That didn't deserve it at all. At least it means we can focus on winning the league now.

Great to see that we have no midweek games coming up on January, allowing for a good recovery period between games.
What a game against Southport, not only for the team but for Charman! Your league form continues to remain nothing short of outstanding. It's a shame about the Trophy, but positive signs to take into next season when you inevitably win promotion.

We may have stolen the win at the death but I'm far from happy. To concede in first-half injury time is criminal and can we please find someone who can take a penalty. I've lost count on the number we've missed this season.

Credit to the Bradford Park Avenue keeper in this game, he was absolutely outstanding. Without him, it could have been double figures. It was disappointing to see Josh Hosie get sent off for a second needless yellow, we really need to sort out our discipline though it may be down to our pressing play.

Manager of the Season

It's an honour to be voted as the National League North Manager of the Season and I'd like to thank my counterparts for voting for me. The credit goes to the players though, who have been excellent all season.

Player of the Season

A deserved Player of the Season award for Cameron Archer. I think it would have been a travesty if he didn't win it.

Club Awards

Fans' Player of the Season

Our top scorer so it's no surprise that Cameron Archer was voted as the Player of the Season. It was surprising to see that Fidel O'Rourke made the top three over Luke Charman.

Signing of the Season

Cameron has been excellent since joining us and what a bargain that free transfer has turned out to be. Hopefully, he can carry his form into next season.

Young Player of the Season

Like Tom Heardman last season, Cameron Archer wins all three awards. Fortunately, he's under contract for next season.
