Bayern had a short winter break for January and kicked off their Bundesliga campaign again on the 19th with a 3-0 win against Cottbus. The most impressive result, though, would be a 5-1 demolishing of last year's title winners Schalke.

Player Worthy of a Mention

Youngster Johannes Brunner put a well-placed volley into the back of the net in a friendly against Kassel and followed this up with an amazing hat trick against Colombian side Millonarios. He also performed well as Bayern crushed Energie Cottbus 3-0 and will have impressed David Beckham with his recent showings.

Just read from you leaving Villa up to now. I hope you can top the table, but it's a lot to ask with how they have performed before you took over.

Great work to fight back from the less than great start and a nice bashing of Schalke :p if you beat Dortmund when you play them I can see you winning the league. Tough draw in the CL though good luck!
