April: Beckoning of the Quadruple

The quadruple has beckoned for Bayern Munich. With the win of the DFL Super Cup back in August, Bayern only need to win two more trophies to complete a treble. As of now, they are top of the Bundesliga, in the Semi Finals of the Champions League, as well as booking a place in the DFB Pokal Final a few weeks later. Can David Beckham's boys actually secure four trophies? Only time will tell.

FC Bayern Munich Player of the Month

Again, it is Ademilson, who has hit 40 goals in the Bundesliga as well as 49 goals in all competitions - an excellent tally. He struck in every Bundesliga fixture for Bayern this season. The most goals scored in a single Bundesliga season is 40 goals, a record set by Gerd Muller. Ademilson now has 3 more games left to play to surpass that record.

Player Worthy of a Mention

Jack Grealish has done well since recovering from his unfortunate injury and even scored a vital goal against Manchester City this month. He will now strive to regain his place in both the Bayern and the England team.

Beckham's Target

Bayern Munich boss David Beckham has set a target for the team - to 'at least win the treble'.

Bayern are in with a chance of securing a quadruple this season. They sit top of the Bundesliga, in the Champions League Semi Finals. They will also play in the DFB Pokal Final against Stuttgart later this month.

If they win two out of three of these trophies, Bayern Munich will have secured a treble, having won the DFL Super Cup earlier on in the season after they beat Schalke 4-1.

"The target is to win at least a treble," Beckham told bild.de. "But of course we want to win a quadruple. To win every trophy, that's the aim."
Holy sh*t. 8-1 away from home? And I thought my 7-1 at home was awesome :P what a result! Great work in keeping ahead of Dortmund, they aren't giving up easily! Great results in the Champions League! The Final beckons David Beckham and Bayern Munich!! The quadruple is a very real possibility :D

Breaking Records

Bayern Munich striker Ademilson has broken Gerd Muller's record for most amount of goals scored in a single Bundesliga season.

He bagged a brace in a 4-0 win against Nurnberg yesterday and this has taken his Bundesliga goal tally to 42 goals, beating Muller's previous record of 40 in 1971.

It has been a fantastic year for the sensational Brazilian, who was brought to the Allianz Arena from Sao Paulo last January, with manager David Beckham breaking the bank and paying 48 million to sign him.

However, he has repaid that debt with his 51 goals in 47 appearances in all competitions this season.

"Gerd Muller was the best player in the world so for Ademilson to break his record of goals is really, really amazing," said Beckham. "I can't really quite believe it myself. The amount of goals he's scored this season is truly terrific and I can only hope he will stay the same next season. He is exactly the reason why we are still in the running for a quadruple."

Aside from Ademilson's personal record, Bayern Munich also broke a team record of their own - with the team scoring a total of 105 goals in the Bundesliga this season. The previous league record, also set by Die Bayern, was 101.
