Vauxhall Motors - The Path To Power
Bono in football? Follow his path to power!
Fantastic story Justice fucking amazing getting promotion to the EPL and decent start. Will certainly be interesting how Vauxhaull will cope with the likes of Man City, Man utd etc but good result vs Spurs that should spur confidence!
What's that? Anoruo got POTM? Someone give that man a f*cking England call up already!
Thanks @patrick1, @Rablador and @The Special One
Hopefully we can challenge for the title in the coming seasons

We're Playing Premier Football
Bono: "We've played two games now in the league, and they have been very difficult for us. Playing Chelsea and Spurs in your first two games is never an easy thing to do. We did get hammered by Chelsea, but we picked up a wonderful draw against Spurs. To pick up a point against such a strong team is fantastic for us.
Take the results out of the equation and I think we have been playing premier football. Our passing has been fantastic and our system has worked very well. Never mind what the results say, as we have only just been promoted to the Premier League.
We only have one aim this season, and that is to avoid relegation. If we can accomplish that, we can accomplish anything. Credit will go to the players for their fantastic work and we can move forward with confidence and belief in our abilities."
Fergie: He Deserves Trophies
Sir Alex Ferguson: "When I heard that the main singer of the world most popular band had gone in to football management in the Conference leagues, I had expected him to fail miserably. But he does deserve a lot of credit for what he has accomplished! How many managers can achieve five promotions in nine seasons? Nobody else, I tell you. This guy is a genius.
There were two times when his team was struggling and relegation looked like a reality. However, he turned those situations around with a change in tactics and now him and Vauxhall are in the Premier League. This guy is the ultimate tactician and a wonderful manager. He is a great man-manager, a great man in an interview and a wonderful friend to have.
After nine successful years, he did have a lot of tough decisions to make. There were times when he was offered lucrative contracts from very reputable clubs, but he stuck with Vauxhall and his determination and his loyalty will pay off eventually. He deserves to be winning titles and trophies, whether or not that is at Vauxhall Motors. José Mourinho has knocked me off my perch since I retired but hopefully Paul Hewson will be the one to de-throne him!"
Season Nine: September Update
Our start to the Premier League campaign had been a hard one for us, claiming a single point against Chelsea and Spurs. With belief on our side, we were looking to get some points on the board and secure our safety sooner rather than later.
Results
As you can see, we struggled big time this month. We started the month with a close defeat to West Ham at home, before pipping Crystal Palace on penalties away from home in the Capital One Cup. We then lost at home to Norwich, where Obi Anoruo scored to become the first ever player to have scored in each of England's top six tiers. We then visited Old Trafford where we put up a good performance in a close defeat to Manchester United. We then went away to Crystal Palace in the league, where we had our asses handed to us on a plate in an embarrassing 5-0 defeat. This was not a good month for us at all. The only consolation is that we have continued to progress in the Capital One Cup.
Barclays Premier League
We've dropped down to last place in the league, with just ourselves and Fulham without wins in the league so far this season. We are struggling big time and it may take a miracle for us to get out of this spot of trouble. Hopefully we can survive this season, but it will be a challenge.
October Fixtures
Next month does not look too kind for us, having to play Liverpool twice and also play Everton. Hopefully we can pick up points against Forest and West Brom and then we will fight hard in the games against the Merseyside clubs.
Not a good month at all, but things will pick up!
Can't believe you lost only 2-1 to United, and then 5-0 to Crystal Palace immediately in the next match! What happened there?
