All your games were away games, perhaps that's part of the problem?

Kammy couldn't do it at Fulham, but can he do it at Southampton?
Let's hope this Middlesbrough do better than they did in the match I've just been to see today;) Any more signings planned for this season?
yuttra52:Well, the first 3 were in a tour of Scotland and my assistant organised the others, but we weren't very good away from home last season so I wanted to improve that.

TCO:I have already made a crap-load of signings so if I sell someone then I will definitely replace them, but otherwise I will probably have a quiet January.

The Premier League

This was it. The first game of the season. Boro vs Liverpool. Liverpool who had finished 2nd last season. Could they challenge for the league title again this season? Nobody knew. All we knew is that we had made it. We were in the top flight once again. We watched the fans come through the famous 'Boro Gates' to see us play. As the players got changed, I was constantly shouting at them. "Don't get nervous, there is no pressure. We're the underdogs, nobody expects us to win. It's not a bad result if we lose guys." For the first time, I couldn't tell how they responded to my comments. Their body language, I just couldn't read it. I didn't know how we would perform. I didn't know if it was the best team talk ever or the worst. But it was all forgotten that very moment we walked out onto the pitch with the famous music, 'Reach Up', playing. Middlesbrough were back in the Premier League.

Sell Carayol, the judas!
I take it you're a Bristol Rovers fan?

He's worth quite a bit so it would be quite good to sell him as I don't look upon him as a key player.

Pelle celebrates his goal against Fulham

Manager's notes:
Well the Premier League was always going to be harder than the Championship and it clearly has been, no wins although we had to play Manchester City and Liverpool who were last season's top two so we couldn't have been expected to get a victory. We played well against City so we were disappointed not to get a point, but the performance against Barnsley was unacceptable as we could have gone far in the competition.
Unbelievable Player Of The Month:
Carlos Fierro has been brilliant so far, despite not scoring he was crucial in our draw with Fulham and outclassed Man City. He nearly scored in the last minute against Barnsley, hitting the post from 25 yards.
Unbelievable Goal Of The Month:
David carney got his first Boro goal against Fulham and it was superb, getting the ball from Fierro and dancing past 2 defenders, then cutting inside to smash the ball into the corner. He has normally played at left back, but has sown great attacking capabilities too.

Hectic transfer deadline day
http://a0.twimg.com/profile_images/2619562123/0__1_7E11220034_00.jpg
There has been many transfer deadline day deals, and Q.P.R. have been very active on the last day of the window, with 2 new arrivals and 2 departures. They signed Muzzy Carayol from Middlesbrough for £5m and Boro have signed Oleksandr Yakovenko on a free transfer to replace him, and Q.P.R. have also signed Hull defender Joe Dudgeon for £4m. On the way out are Adel Taarabt who leaves for 2nd tier Stoke City and Shaun Derry who has been shipped out on loan. However, these deals have been done by the board as the club are currently without a manager so it remains to be seen whether Carayol and Dudgeon will fit in with the new manager's set up.

September: We can do this!

Carlos Fierro hit form with 5 goals

Manager's Notes:
Some nice results, the Wigan result was excellent and Carlos Fierro has been excellent, but we have not been able to hold on to our leads, as we led each game in this month. Our defence has been excellent until we come up to the final whistle and Jason Steele is the reason we didn't lose to Sunderland and Burnley, making a fantastic penalty save from Charlie Austin in the latter.
Unbelievable Player Of The Month:
Carlos Fierro. Who else? With 5 goals in 3 games this month, he is the sole reason we have got any points. He has been excellent, and has scored 2 penalties too. What a bargain for £3.5m.
Unbelieable Goal Of The Month:
With 5 to choose from, of course, Carlos Fierro was our winner! His first against Wigan was nothing short of superb. Beating his man before finally being stopped, he retained the ball and fired in from outside the box, right into the top corner.
Loving the new update style! Fierro looks amazing as well, an I hope he can lead you to more great results. Keep up the good work!
